I think he was a great choice as Capt. for Enterprise, what is everyone elses thoughts on this?

The ageold question has been posed to me by a new Star Trek fan as to how Statdates work. I know there's not a really solid answer on this question but can someone help out on the inner workings of Stardates?

 

Okay, hello.  I'm new. 

 

Middle aged female, married and thankfully childless (by choice, do not want to grow up).  Have been a fan of Trek since the first episode of TOS which I clearly remember fighting with my parents to watch, a determined seven year old.  Haven't missed an episode since.

 

Favorite of the five series is DS9 and Enterprise is a close second.  We own all the movies, a large portion of TOS on DVD, a few Next Gens and the DS9 first season set is on its way from Amazon. 

 

Also watch Stargate SG-1, Andromeda, Charmed as well as the rerun stuff like XFiles (which I miss badly), Babylon 5, and anything else that SciFi chooses to throw at us.  I read SF, too -- McCaffrey, Heinlein, Silverberg, Turtledove, Stirling and whatever else strikes my fancy.

Not that I trust Howard Stern further than I could heave Jupiter, but that blathering fool was dithering about "Enterprise" possibly being cancelled this morning.

 

Can't find anything about it on any of my usual reliable sources, has anyone else heard this? 

 

Don't know if I would keep watching network television if it were to be cancelled.

oooh good one, that was such a fantastic episode!

I've watched it probably 5 times at least. I really like it. It's simple but tells a great story.

Ok so what's everyone's favourite episode of Enterprise so far?  Mine would have to be a toss up between The Andorian Incident and A Night In Sickbay - both classics!

 

I think my favorite so far is Carbon Creek (Episode 2 season 2).
