I have Gamecube and like it very much. Right now there still not many games for it, and its downfall. :nono:

I used to have GameCube up until about a week ago, my little brother and I decided to trade in all of our games and console for a PS2. My sister and my brother in law followed suit, trading in about a couple days ago.

I also have a Game Boy SP

In the past my family has owned:

Sega, Dreamcast, NES, SNES, Game Boy(pocket, color, advance), I think at one point an Atari(It has been so long I cannot remember). Funniest thing is, if I listed all the games we had it would seem we were all quite the gamers...but, we would concentrate our gaming time to one specific afternoon...or just play for a couple hours then go back to playing outside instead. My mom would always joke about the fact that she got the game system for us, and we let it basically collect dust(since we were more into playing outdoors). We did want the system, and we played it...but not as often as one would imagine. Also, when we got the system, it was always a long while after it was the "in" thing to have (none of us kids had a problem with that at all.)

We have Gamecube and Playstation 2. We started out with Playstation and have about 50 games for that, then those dirty dogs at CAPCOM switched to Gamecube for the Resident Evil series!!! Naturally, I had to buy a Gamecube to keep up and I must say that as far as graphics and character movement on the games that I play, Gamecube is better than Playstation 2.

My husband is really into Metal Gear (PS2). I LOVE Eternal Darkness (GC) and Resident Evil 0, Resident Evil, (both GC), Resident Evil 2 (PS), Resident Evil 3 (PS), and now Resident Evil 4 is due out in January for GC. Oh, and of course, Dino Crisis 1 and 2, Parasite Eve 1 & 2, then there's ... well the list goes on and on.

My game play is pretty evenly divided between the two systems ... I'm mainly interested in the games themselves. Since we have both systems, we're not restricted in our choices.

We disconnected our cable service last month because we never watch t.v. anymore ... just play games and watch Trek.

I have a Game Cube, and I play Madden 2002. I've played the same game on Play Station, and the GC graphics are FAR superior, it's like playing it on a computer as far as the graphics go. the only other game I have is 007: Nightfire. Gary, Krissy, Julie and I usually have 5 on 5 shoot outs, using 3 bots for each team. I've also played Soul Calibur 2, and I have to say, I like it alot!

Well I'm glad to hear that. In Australia, Gamcube isn't really that popular (although that does mean that the games are fairly cheap) :frusty: I have about 25 or so games, and most of them are party games - great to play with friends. I'm also getting Donkey Konga for Christmas  SO EXCITED!!!

You guys should check out 1080 Avalanche for multi-player fun (Gamecube). It's a snowboarding game and it is a scream! I'll put my 5-year-old son up against anybody on it ... he'll clean your clock.

Also, I cannot say enough good things about Eternal Darkness (Gamecube) ... it is an awesome game. It's only a one-player game though and has lots of blood and cool weapons -- which I really like but everyone is not into that! You do get magical powers and go around casting spells, so if you are anti-witchcraft even in a game or story form, this won't be the game for you.

My family and I have a small handful of PS2 games, but the one that gets the most play time is Karaoke Revolution 1 (also Volume 3, but that belongs to my sister & brother in law, so it is one we get to play when they bring it over)

I own a Gamecube I have about ten games for it but the one I play the most is Soul Caliber II and Starfox Adventures. T_T I would have more, but I'm saving my money for a PS2 so I can play Van Helsing and Dance Dance Revolution Max 2 at home and get past a D for my average score. :frusty:

Erk - I hate that game! I rented it a few times and it was a shocker! It's fun while you're unlocking stuff, but after that all the appeal's gone

I'm not sure about in your country, but in Australia, games cost as little as $40 (pre-owned). I even saw one for $10 (but that was a once-off :dude: )

 That sure is a lot of games! I just counted them and have a little over 20 on gamecube, and im guessing about 20 on gameboy. I haven't dragged out my SNES in yonks, but I have quite a few games on that too. What's Viewtiful Joe like, cos I hear people talking about it and saying it's great. But to me, it seems a little bland.
