T.A.R.D.I.S. Log: 5th August 2004,On Thursday We Leave For Home

4.21 PST Earthican-time... | ...emit-nacihtraE TSP 21.4

Well, I guess I'll review the past events from today and yesterday... smile.gif

After logging off, since I found that I needed to go to sleep (in the daytime..) and my father wanted me off the computer, I went to bed...

...Then he wanted me to clean the bottom and steps of the under-used pool that we have in our back-yard... :( 'Twas boring work, and I really needed to get some sleep...

Oh yeah... They were having a TimeCop (TV series) marathon.... I saw most of the episodes...

Later in the day, at 17 PST, they showed another episode of Sliders... smile.gif

Episode: "Asylum".

In this episode's Earth, gasoline is now very rare, and cars are being powered by a horse in front... :o California secedes from the rest of the United States of America, and becomes its own country...

'Twas a neat episode, and it involved some of their Kromagg storyline...

Other miscellaneous things happened... I forgot which ones in specific....

I guess I'll make one up... :o

  • I fought against Morlocks in order to get my time-machine back...
  • I got trampled on by an angry herd of giant turtles in an Accelerated Time-Zone....
  • I lost another round of "Jumanji"...

Seen two episodes of Smallville, since I found out UPN wasn't showing Star Trek: Enterprise two times...

Oh well... I enjoy Smallville though, and I used to watch it more in the past, although it clashed with ENT...

:( When will they have Superman's dog appear on the show? Krypto... Hehe...

Hmmmmm, later into the day, I watched an episode of that talk show with Conan O'Brien, and I saw some of the TV show: Mister Peepers for the first time. :)

Mister Peepers was originally a summer replacement show for NBC, but later on it took on popularity and ran normally...

It was shown on Sunday nights at 19.30 on NBC, and it ran between: 3 July 1952 through 12 June 1955. I thought it was interesting, Wally Cox plays the character of Mr. Robinson J. Peepers, a General Science teacher.

After that, I read some fantasy short-story (with a dictionary to my side) and listened to Big Band and Swing music until midnight... Most of it came from the 1930s or 1940s...

As Thursday approached, I watched most of an episode of The 4400.

I like the premise, since it has to do with time-displaced people who were missing from the 1930s and so on... The title sequence was also neat too. :)

Earlier, I finished an episode of Quantum Leap... I missed what the title was, but it involved Sam Beckett leaping into an African-American pool-player in the year 1954... Hehe, Al helped him with creating with his 1999 hologram technology.

Now...

Chatting with Mike (Tal Shiar 8472), waiting for TimeLady_Echo to come online... And a few other things.... Hmmm, existing, I think...

I was watching the 1995 movie: Deadly Invasion: The Killer Bee Nightmare... But I decided to keep the television off to keep my silence, and I seemed to have already seen it in the past...

Hmmm, anyone here fans of The Prisoner? :P

It is a very neat show, and has become one of my favourites now. :)

Well, I guess I'm out of ideas.... I'll have to remember about submitting my answers to sTF.net Trivia....

However your answer to existance is plagued with more questions from Socrates who questions what morals are compared to virtue compared to the rules of existance. He questions what is life worth without the questioning of it character and its existance while it is relation to existance. Questions answer Questions.

Socratic theory is so intriguing.

Fascinating

Hmmmm, what is my answer to existence?

I shall have to buy some literature from the Philosophy section of thy bookstore aimed at Socrates...

No.12 versus No.6 in a shooting competition...

...[ The Prisoner, "The Schizoid Man" (First aired in: Friday the 27th October 1967 at 19.30) ]...

T.A.R.D.I.S. Log: 7th August 2004, Saturday morning...

1.17 PST Earthican-time... | ...emit-nacihtraE TSP 71.1

Well, the day of Friday ended for me awhile ago... Not much has happened to me so far... So let's talk about yesterday. B)

lamp.gif

Yesterday...

I originally planned to finish off the trivia questions from here today... But my father took use of the computer that morning B) , so I slept for 12 hours or so...

Hmmmm, I am now in 10th place in highest Trivia rank... W00t..

I dreamt a couple of dreams, although I don't really remember much worth mentioning, although some of them involved computers...

Around the 18th hour, I caught a bit of Conan O'Brien, and then I decided to watch an episode of Big O...

Good episode of Big O it was. Revolved around a piano-playing android.

After that, it was time for a show I usually wait a week for it to be shown on BBC America...

post-12-1091864549.gif

:)

Yesterday's episode was: "The Schizoid Man".

It was an interesting episode. B)

Characters of that episode featured: No.24 (aka Allison), No.12 (aka Number 6  ), No.118 (one of the brain-washing dudes..), and a few other warders and prisoners...

He was so close to escaping in this episode... One minor mistake and the whole plan fails...

After that...

I watched an episode of Star Trek: Enterprise and then the first hour of the Star Trek: The Next Generation episode: "Encounter at Farpoint, Part 1". smile.gif

The ENT episode was: "Hatchery" [ENT #69], which I guess I like more now... Possibly because it's been awhile since I've seen some Star Trek... I should remember my TV schedule more...

The Eugenics Wars reference was awesome. cool.gif

Oh yes! B) I got the first season of Quantum Leap on DVD on Thursday... smile.gif

I think I'll collect the others also... Also got a DVD of the 1951 film: The Day That the Earth Stood Still. cool.gif

I think I'll watch 'em both later today... My, it's 1.07 PST here... ohmy.gif

Now...

Hmmmm, writing... Yes, that... ...Thinking about what I'll do after this, as I type, and you read this as I type...

Well, since Janie isn't online right now and I doubt she'll come online this late into her night, I guess I should be going now...

Oh yeah... laugh.gif I watched Inuyasha and Case Closed (aka Detective Conan) yesterday also...

I like them both, and I used to watch the first more often... Mostly upon Saturday... Oh, coincidentally, that happens to be today's day... biggrin.gif

Good Night/Day/Twilight! Hope everyone shall have a better tomorrow, and a good day... *notices he already mentioned that... Ehm..*

The U.S.S. Enterprise orbiting Capella IV...

...[ Star Trek, "Friday's Child" (First aired in: 1st December 1967) ]...

T.A.R.D.I.S. Log: 8th August 2004, Sunday morning...

5.20 PST Earthican-time... | ...emit-nacihtraE TSP 02.5

*yawns* A tad bit tired right now... ;)

Besides that, I am doing swell...

Yesterday...

I rewatched The Prisoner episode: "The Schizoid Man" again... :P ;) After that, I watched an episode of Star Trek, which happened to be "Friday's Child".... I liked them both, and then I watched two episodes of Lexx which weren't so good... :tribble:

They were: "3.09 Garden" and "3.10 Battle"... So it dealt with the two planets: Fire and Water who happen to orbit so closely together that you can fly a balloon (or wasp..) from planet-to-planet without flying out into space...

Hmmmm, I don't hate Lexx, but there are definitely elements of the show I dislike...

I have seen much of the episodes, and on the last episode...

Click For Spoiler
Lexx goes into a new phase of growth, Earth blows up, Kai is made alive by Prince but then dies, and a couple other things... I doubt they'll add to what has happened after, besides the fan-fiction...

I think I went to bed after that... Although it was still morning of thy Saturday... And slept most of the day yet again... :look:

Later into Saturday, I spent my time in the sTF.net Chat Room and adjusting to the new changes to the site... Which seem more efficient I think, although I have been experiencing a problem of not all of my images working... ;)

Today...

Been playing some game about anagrams.... Hmmm, yes.... Listened to some of George Noory Coast to Coast AM...

;) I missed much of the John Titor interview... Oh well, and right now, I am watching the Star Trek episode: "The Deadly Years"... Was planning to watch Cowboy Bebop, but I missed it..

Well, watching the episode, and waiting for Janie to come online.... I guess I'll add onto this when I have something interesting happen to me... :tear:

The Grippian tyrants returning for their fugitive scientists who hide on Earth's only moon...

T.A.R.D.I.S. Log: 9th August 2004, Monday, Monday

5.58 PST Earthican-time... | ...emit-nacihtraE TSP 85.5

Well, I guess I should make this a short post, since I have done little, save a few details...

Right now: I have the television tuned to The Twilight Zone.

*checks, and flips through his favourite The Twilight Zone Companion*

Ah, the episode is: "Four O'Clock", first aired in: 6th April 1962. So far it is good, some person is complaing about eevil to his parrot and Rod Serling is interrupting now...

Earlier, I was just adding to the threads, and been noticing they were showing the 1981 Terry Gilliam movie: Time Bandits.

I also met she_wolf in the chat room again, along with Tal Shiar 8472.

Around 2 AM, I watched a pretty good episode of The Outer Limits.

Some orb happened to be life-forms from the world(s?) of Grippia in the constellation of Zenise, and was found on the Moon of Earth... By Lunar Probe One...

The theme was basically: "science versus military". The orb they found was a group of fugitive scientists would refused to hand out their useful information to the empire that dwelt in Grippia... Their race was able to absorb information directly, and so these chose to hide in one of the best hiding places...

The Moon.

Before that, unmuch... Yesterday, I helped out Deanna Troi Fan Lizzy send a PM to change her name, and how to get an avatar.... My that took awhile...

The 4400 is a good show, I like the title sequence... :cool1:

Can't really think of what else to type, except for some new news...

I made have two new emoticons.

Quinn Mallory showing that phony Arnold Potts real sliding...

...[ Sliders, "Lipschitz Live" (First aired in: 30th November 1998) ]...

T.A.R.D.I.S. Log: 9th August 2004, Monday, Monday

18.57 PST Earthican-time... | ...emit-nacihtraE TSP 75.81

Adjusting to the new changes, which I am more comfortable with and I like some of the new features now. :)

Slept the mid-day, and when I awoke (which was around 14.00...), I got to see the Battlestar Galactica episode: "Fire in Space".

Boomer, Athena, and Boxey (along with Muffet...) get stuck in the Rejuvenation Centre (I think was the name...), since a Cylon attack occured, and they needed to seal the rooms... The Cylon's plan was to simply ram into key points upon the Galactica like the bridge and the docking port... post-812-1092049970.gif

Good episode, I saw most of the first half... And some of the episode: "The Man with Nine Lives"...

After that, I think I just spent it chatting in the sTF.net Chat Room...

Teaching Deanna Troi Fan Lizzy how to make posts in colour and with glow seems to take quite a bit of time...

At 17.00 (although sometime after, I missed some of the beginning), I watched another episode of Sliders :).

The plot revolved around a para-Earth who is transfixed upon a single TV talk-show... Lipschitz Live. :) This is a good episode... Frell, that Arnold Potts is such a phoney, claiming to be a interdimensional traveller...

One of the Season 4 episodes, I think... Agh, it is 106 degrees Farenheit...

Was 119 degrees Farenheit earlier...

 Oh yeah... Prometheus_Nova wanted me to enter this into my log the other day...

"Today, we had an interesting discussion about dead people."

:) We also talked about zombies and time-machines on Saturday... My what a combination...

Have a nice DAY!!! :wine:

The killer cloud encountered at Tycho IV and Argus X...

...[ Star Trek, "Obsession" (First aired in: 15th December 1967) ]...

T.A.R.D.I.S. Log: 10th August 2004, Tuesday

5.53 PST Earthican-time... | ...emit-nacihtraE TSP 35.5

Well, 3 hours since I've got out of bed... (Maybe four... I woke up at 1.30 to watch The Twilight Zone... ) I'm doing a bit better now.

Before I start rambling, here's a steam-punkish forthcoming movie...

Click For Spoiler
I'm looking forward to that movie... :cool1: Hope it does well...

Earlier today, among the first things I did today, besides listening to an episode of George Noory Ghost to Ghost AM.... :) The episode was on ghosts and the like...

At 1.30, I watched an episode of The Twilight Zone, nice episode about a western star who lives out the actual olde west since Jesse James thinks he's been twisting what had occured in the past by showing fictionalized version on screen... Oh, and the episode was: "Showdown with Rance McGrew", which was first aired in 2 February 1962... :)

After that, was an episode of Quantum Leap, which too was nice. Setting being a sea-ship, episode being: "Sea Bride: June 3, 1954". And then..... An episode of the original Star Trek! :)

Hehe, 'twas a good episode, entitled: "Obsession", which delved nicely into some of Kirk's lieutenant days...

:wine: Lt. Leslie died!!!! :crybaby:

Or did he...? *thinks about his Highlander/Lt. Leslie theory...*

Out of three Redshirts on Argus X, the killer cloud chose to feed off the full amount from two of them (one of them being Leslie  ), and the one that seemed to survive a little later on was Ensign Rizzo...

Sounds like a name of a Muppet..

Besides that, my day has barely started, although I do like starting my day up with watching those three series....

Oh yes! Very important to steam-punk fans...

What if the novels of Jules Verne were actually based on his real-life adventures? Set in the late 19th-century, Jules Verne is a young man struggling to become a successful writer. His visions of the future are sought by the League of Darkness, a group led by the centuries-old steampunk-cybernetic Count Gregory. Jules meets up with British spy Rebecca Fogg, her arrogant cousin Phileas, and his man-servant Passepartout. Phileas has retired from the spy business after his supervisor and father ended up getting his brother killed. The British Government arranged for Phileas to "win" a lighter-then-air ship, the Aurora, and gain the services of Passepartout, an accomplished tinkerer.

Phileas puts the Aurora at the service of his cousin on her missions. With Jules' help, they fight a variety of futuristic (for 1890) and supernatural menaces, ranging from giant underground digging machines to vampires wearing rocket pack to ghosts to aliens to time travel devices. They also occasionally run afoul of the League of Darkness, who have their own plans for ruling the world through technology.

They will be showing a marathon of this 2000 television series on the SciFi Channel, which I thought was good... cool2.gif I think it starts at 8 AM... To anyone interested... :)

Well, that's about it for this morning... I'll add a bit more later, hope things go well with Tal Shiar 8472 (aka Mike)...

Good-bye and best wishes. *waves* post-812-1092054415.gif

Colonel Alec Barham's disembodied brain hopefully ready to be transported into the first probe headed to Mars...

...[ The Outer Limits, (First aired in: 2nd January 1965) ]...

T.A.R.D.I.S. Log: 10th August 2004, Out-Of-This-World Wednesday

19.45 PST Earthican-time... | ...emit-nacihtraE TSP 54.7

Well, today different things happened for me...

One of them being, I missed the return of thy Mod God of the Chat Room days of yore... :sweatdrop: Eh, we'll meet them later on, some of it was my idea, along with Rivendells_king..

[ Insert sublimable message here. ]

Hehe, thy mod god in the early days after thy Great Migration from the lands of ye olde Starfleet Lounge...

"(S)He who speaks in red with no username..."

Besides that, earlier today, I got to see an episode of The Twilight Zone and Quantum Leap, and a little of the 1995 movie: Death Machine (some low-budget sci-fi movie about a company [ Chaank ] who will be making a human with an exoskeleton..)...

The episode of The Twilight Zone was "A Piano in the House", which was one I already saw, but still enjoyed nontheless...

The Quantum Leap episode: "M.I.A.: April 1, 1969" delved very nicely into Rear Admiral Al Calavici's past...

After that, I chatted a bit with Mike (aka Tal Shiar 8472), and then I guess I went to sleep for a bit...

I awoke later on, chatted some more again, and began watching my Outer Limits marathon... Two episodes I remember watching were: "The Brain of Colonel Barham" and "The Premonition" (a neat time-travel episode featuring what could have happened once you broke the time-barrier with a jet... :) )...

During that marathon, me, and other fellow chatters wondered about the 'Nother Coming of thy Room God.... Rivendells_king posted up the idea, too bad I missed it...

Got to talk with Janie today :b-day: , and rewatched an episode of Sliders, which I think was called "Offline"...

Hmmmmm, since they neither show Star Trek: Enterprise tonight, nor Star Trek: The Next Generation along with Star Trek: Deep Space Nine...

( "The Home of Star Trek".... Ha! What is up with SpikeTV..? If I wanted to watch car chases, I could just take a walk outside... [Even though it is burning hot...].)

Hmmmmm, my T-shirt looks akin to something Charlie Brown would wear.... Well, my olde cat used to sleep on top of the car, although it isn't quite the same...

Hmmm, Deanna Troi Fan Lizzy came back into thy Chat Room...

*drinks lemonade* Well, I guess that's it for tonight... Hope I shall encounter better things later on in futurity... :cool1:

Good-bye and best wishes. *waves* post-812-1092054415.gif

Well I noticed someone on the Alien Spotlight used my good-bye greeting: Be Seeing You. :spock:

That's a reference to the 1967-1968 TV series: The Prisoner if anyone's wondering...

*Remembers...*

Oooh, oooh! Those who have BBC America, they shall be airing The Prisoner on Friday at 7.00 PM and 10.00 PM, and for the third encore presentation ( ): at 2 AM on Saturday. After that, you may watch an episode of thy original Star Trek at 3 AM on SciFi Channel...

Just a reminder...

Right now, Sman told me to watch this 1993 movie on TBS about a Jamaican bobsled team, called Cool Running (I think)...

I chatted a bit with MsJones earlier, she had a nice tie-dye on her AOL Messenger ^_^ .

Earlier in the day (around 1 AM for myself), I was chatting with sman, MsJones, and greendancer (actually it was ghostfirstclass using her username...). At 1.30 AM, they showed the Twilight Zone episode: "Little Girl Lost" about some little girl who gets lost in between certain dimensions via a portal on the wall... :o The Simpsons ripped that idea off...

And also rewatched another good episode of Quantum Leap: "The Leap Home: November 25, 1969". Next one takes place in Vietnam...

And so I slept the rest of the day, I woke up just in time for 5 O'clock... Which I got see some of Sliders...

I spoke with Janie today. And listened to oldies while Prometheus_Nova gave out military jokes...

I ate pizza... And not much else... Now I am chatting with Deanna_Troi_Fan_Lizzy, and in a Yahoo Chat Room with CaptainCave, lurkingpenguin and others...

Hmmmm, Lizzy needs help on File Attachments...

Well, it's definitely humid right now... I'll look forward to adding more later...

T.A.R.D.I.S. Log: Friday the 13th of August 2004 A.D. :cool1:

Unmuch has occurred of late... But one thing I have noticed that it is Friday the 13 of August!

Hehe, those who find truth in superstition will be on a heightened level of paranoia!

Watching Farscape and listening to George Noory Coast to Coast AM, which they were talking about the Tungunska explosion of 1908 (the Tesla death-ray theory is quite interesting ^_^ ) and now cybernetics.

I guess I will be finding threads to post on later on... I'm a bit disgruntled about them not showing The Twilight Zone, and it's Friday the 13th.

Oh well, I got to rewatch another Quantum Leap episode...

I have a picture of myself from a while back ago... Long ago when my hair seemed a bit more orderly, and not a mess as it is now...

Frankly, I'm not a big fan of military hair-cuts, but my father makes me get them...

At least it was easier to run a comb through...

Well, that's the bit of news for now... I might watch some of The Phantom Empire (1935) or Undersea Kingdom (1936) later...

They're olde movie serials.... I wish I had some of the Flash Gordon serials... :o

NOT Flesh Gordon or Flash Gordon (1980).... Although I saw the remake movie.... It was fine, but still fan of the original...

Well, if there's any questions, I'd be happy to answer them.

If you have answers to my questions, that would be great too. :spock:
