The Days the Doctor Dwells In...

Phase II

Starlog: 30 May 2004 AD, Sunday

07:48 PST Earth-time.

This is the new Doctor Who of 42 personal log....

[using terms such as "now", "then", "before", etc...

Even though "forward-flowing time" doesn't really effect the Doctor...

It's too complicated trying to use Time-Traveller's Tense....

Anyways, I'm in the Present now....]

Right now: Listening to different songs by the Beach Boys...

Not much for this morning... Watched a bit of this 1999 black-and-white film Man of the Century on IFC, about a reporter that is decades behind his time....

hehe, Tribbleman10000 says that's like me, but he calls me evil and sadistic....

Tribbleman10000 is my little brother by-the-way.... He's into art, and is anti-corporation....

Anyways.... hehe, remembered that Oldies song about Snoopy vs. the Red Baron....

*grumbles* My arms are still hurting from swimming 'em 15 laps in the pool.....

Well, I'm basically typing out nonsense.... So I'll wait for more things to occur....

Hope to talk to Timetraveler_Janie (Echo) later on...

"Break the causal chain..." <_< Line from the time-travel romance movie Happy Accidents....

The Days The Doctor Dwells In...

Phase II

Starlog: 2 June 2004 AD, Wednesday

17:25 PST Earth-time.

Nothing new actually...

Just discovered this site from reading ensign_ro's livejournal....

(Click on the Skull/Clock thing...)

Here's what I got:

Normal: Thursday, September 7, 2062

They had different options, like: Optimistic, Pessimistic, and Sadistic....

Anyways....

Waiting for Echo (or TimeTraveler_Janie) to be online....

She hasn't been today for me

Also, on waiting for the ENT episode No. 53: "The Xindi"...

I'll probably tape it, and watching a couple half-dozen times, to gain trivia knowledge off it or something....

Well, in the chat room too, role-playing with samanthacarter, and failing at Rivendells_king's LOTR trivia.... (I know that Luthien would have loved it :P

The Days The Doctor Dwells In...

Phase II

Starlog: 3 June 2004 AD, Wednesday

16:38 PST Earth-time.

Last night we experienced a blackout....

<_< It caused me to miss much of the Star Trek: Enterprise episode #53: "The Xindi"....

Then, when I was taping episode #54: "Anomaly".... Another blackout occured.....

*grumbles* Spent that time watching my battery-powered clocks tick and tock....

They seem to have a tune after awhile....

Just now, I watched the X-Files episode: "War of the Coprophages".....

 Great episode  It involved cockroach infestations, robotics, alternative fuels, possible hallucinations, and the panic caused by paranoia...

hehe, apparently, aliens use swarms of metallic-exoskeletoned cockroaches as their space probes....

These "probes" are powered by methane, which they extract from dung....

Anyways, a good episode it was. :)

Got to talk to Echo today :) Although not for long, since she needed to go to sleep at 3.30 AM.... :theking:

Talking to samanthacarter right now in the STF.net Room.... :)

Oh yeah... Changed my signature today.... Anyone have anything to say about it?

Well, I think I've run out of things to talk about....

I had a dream where I was in a playground with a Geiger counter....

Hmmm, yea....

Ok, done now.

Feel free to comment :)

You may ask me questions on the Personal Log if you'd like :)

Oh, I meant: she needed to go to sleep at 7.00 pm EST, and wake up at 3.30 am.....

(It was 4.00 pm PST when she left.... Forgot about the time-zone-difference....)

That woman looks bloated :look:

Why are you reading the communist manifesto?

hehe, yeah...

Scene from the Doctor Who episode: "Ark in Space"...

They have a lack of air in that early 30th/late 29th century space-station which was shut off for a couple of tens of thousands of years....

Oh, why not? Is the book boring?

Those who thought they understood it and applied it nearly destroyed the world and its ideas...

Only had 6 dollars... :(

And it seemed like that was the only book that I can afford there (on Philosopy), it was $ 4.95.

Yes, I know, I'll get some of the more expensive ones later...

(on Siggy Subject)

Thanx :look: Have you seen Alphaville?

Pretty much bored right now...

I talked to a new face in the STF.net room today, someone by the name of n999.

 That was cool, like greeting new members...

No one in the room, right now...

Waiting for Echo to come online...

If anyone has any questions about my LiveJournal, or about anything about me, I would be delighted to answer them

The Days The Doctor Dwells In...

Phase II

Starlog: 3 July 2004 AD, Saturday

9.37 PST Earth-time... | ...emit-htraE TSP 73.9

Well, I have not written in this log for awhile :theforce:

Yesterday was a FarScape marathon, although I only saw parts of one episode

Still good to see some of it, rather than non at all though :)

Also, me and TimeTraveler_Janie (a.k.a. Echo) would call our daughter... When we have one, I mean

My choices: Trillian, Lily, Carmodi, and probably some others...

Echo's choices: Alice, Evelyn, and probably some others, but I'd need to review the Yahoo Messenger Archives, or ask her again :P

Also spent some of my time watching Starship Exeter, and looking through various science-fictional artwork to add to my Gallery...

STARSHIP EXETER

User Album: The Middle-Ground Between Science and Superstition

What I'm doing now, is typing this up ( :P ), chatting with my new friend Tal Shiar 8472, and existing (as much as I know, I am...).

Earlier, I ate a pizza, and drunk some apple-juice. Listened to one of my tapes from my Old Time Radio's Greatest Detectives, and read this one self-help book on obtaining power and using it for the benefit of yourself...

1570190631.gif

Well, I guess I'll add on to my links thread here on sTF.net...

DrWho42 Links

Well, I guess that's all I can think of about now... And then... Hmmm, I should listen to more of George Noory Coast to Coast AM, rather than oldies, classical music, and big-band/swing...

Well, See You Around the Twilight Zone :)

Well... I have not written here for quite some time...

Right now I have some popcorn in the microwaving unit.... Be Right[/b] Back....

Back... My that went terribly... The bag collapsed upon itself, and other things like the popcorn didn't turn out as well as I wanted... :)

As my second attempt takes flight, I'll review some of the events that I have experienced....

Been updating my LiveJournal Account... Took a couple polls :)

Besides that, chatting in the room, with MikeHines01, and Dr._Crusher... Eating this poorly-made popcorn... And finished watching the movie Clifford... Which I guess was a 1994 movie...

If anyone has any questions about me, feel free to take use of this Personal Log and post it. :)

The Days The Doctor Dwells In...

Phase II

Starlog: 28th July 2004 AD, Wednesday

11.20 PST Earthican-time... | ...emit-nacihtraE TSP 02.11

Greetings all who read this!

If you get this far in the reading, then I know who you have complained in the momentary pause between the greeting and now...

Nothing much has happened today, besides my three dreams...

  • Well, for some odd reason, I was hired to illegally transport this one toliet... Not a very special toliet in my view.. And I happened to drop it into the ocean while jumping from building to building in post-Ice Caps melting New York... Hmmm.... Odd...
  • I guess this is my third dream... There happened to be this really nice hotel on the top of Mount Everest... Or some other mountain... Very nice, and in my style: old-fashioned. For some reason, these angry looking cowboys (similar to those in the Star Trek: Enterprise episode: "North Star" [ENT #61]) blew up the building before I left... Hmmmm, the building was built into the mountain, so there just happened to be an avalanche... Thereafter, I was put into this one search crew, put together to look for this mysterious hotel that got destroyed....
  • Second dream involved me eating more doughnuts than I should...

This is a nice website for all you Prisoner fans :

THE TALLY HO

Well, simply listening to oldies... There might be a marathon upon the SciFi Channel for me...

*remembers*

Ah, yes! A three-day Thunderbirds marathon upon G4TechTV

tb-title-50.jpg

The Thunderbirds took use of this puppetry known as: "supermarionation", and last between the dates of September 1965 to December 1966.

Hmmmm, well, I shall be watching that from Thursday and on... Can't really think much else to type... I could go back to bed again... The one about the hotel seemed interesting...

See you around the Time-Space Continua

Right now, I am eating this candy featured below...

swdshfsh1.jpg

It's pretty good :) Listening to something concerning Ufology and prophecies on the radio right now... And chatting with Echo, and eating those candy fish :)

My mother bought me a bag of that candy, a new pocket-watch, a new wrist-watch, and a book with "The Best of Lewis Carroll" :)

She also asked me what kind of ice cream I wanted at Wal-Mart, but I didn't really have an inclination to eating ice cream upon that moment... Mostly I was wondering as to whether or not certain words are used in the correct manner of how I am using them.... *wished that he had his SpellCheck back then*

Hehe, antediluvian is an awesome word....

More to come later....

Starlog: 29th July 2004 AD, On Thursday We Leave For Home

19.47 PST Earthican-time... | ...emit-nacihtraE TSP 74.91

Nothing really now...

Just listening through TV theme-songs... Listening to the original Battlestar Galactica theme-song (for the regular first season), they mention the land of Lemuria... As I remember from this one alternative historian (quite different from the literary fiction..) Michael Tsarion claims that was the land from which the hybrid beings that were part Atlantean and part native Earthling...

As I remember, he wrote a book called Atlantis, Alien Visitation & Genetic Manipulation, which I might get... He was a very good guest on the radio show George Noory Coast to Coast AM  .

Before listening to various TV theme-songs ( :) ), I was rewatching that episode of The Weakest Link on that thread Commodore -Harry Kim- posted... :) I remember seeing it back on NBC awhile back ago, when it was first aired...

Hmmm, here's a picture of what seems to be an ark-like structure in the vicinity of Mount Ararat...

Click for Spoiler:

rives0729a2.jpg

Hmmmm, I managed to watch a bit of Thunderbirds, but most of it I missed, since mother wanted to watch Lifetime or QVC (or something to the like..) . Hmmmm, nice to know JBMinuet is a fan of the show :P

I might do a Thunderbirds poll here... Either of favourite vehicle, or character... :) I did not know FAB in that series meant: Federal Agents Bureau.... I thought it was just some meaningless abbreviation given to London Agent Lady Penelope's car, boat, and prize-winning horse... :)

Well, I guess I have exhausted my ideas for right now...

Good night/day/twilight to you all :o

EDIT: Agh.... I edited a post rather than post a new one... :)

T.A.R.D.I.S. Log: 30th July 2004, Thursday

22.06 PST Earthican-time... | ...emit-nacihtraE TSP 60.22

Well various things has occured for me today...

(Yesterday, I watched an episode of both Chobits and Big O.)

As for my dream entry... It involved some giant tarantula... And my buss-driver happened to be my middle-school librarian... The tarantula was on one of those anti-shrinking things... So it was getting larger, and it cause some destruction to my school, but I didn't really pay much attention to it, since the bell rung and school was over...

Since my mum dragged me along in her shopping (which caused me to miss a Sliders marathon...), I got to have four books ^_^

  • Doctor Who: The Colony of Lies, written by Colin Brake.
  • Storeys from the Old Hotel, written by Gene Wolf.
  • The Scar, written by China Miéville.
  • Virtual Unrealities, written by Alfred Bester.

Click For Spoiler
bbcpdoc61.jpg0345444388.01.LZZZZZZZ.jpg

c2668.jpgc715.jpg

The first three I got at Borders... But they didn't seem to carry short-story magazines like Analog or Asimov's Science Fiction...

Barnes and Noble did, but they didn't had a good as selection as Borders... In my opinion... (They did not have China Miéville's Perdido Street Station... )

Earlier I just watched another episode of The Prisoner :)

That is such a great series... :o

Today's episode was: "Free for All" (First aired in 22 October 1967).

No.2: "Are you going to run?"

No.6: "Like the blazes; first chance I get."

No.2: "I mean, run for office?"

I am not a number. I am a person. All of you at one time were persons.
Unlike me, many of you have accepted the situation of your imprisonment, and will die here like rotten cabbages.

Very good episode, with alot of very good quotes :o It was a bit sad that no one tried taking the chance of escaping from the Village once No. 6 was in "command"... (The illusion of it anyways... )

I'll probably join the Six of One, Prisoner Appreciation Society... It looks so cool, and the show is so very good... number6.gif

I had some ice cream while watching The Avengers, but I felt like I could watch it some other time, since I have every DVD with Mrs. Emma Peel (played by Diana Rigg)... B)

Well I seem to be out of ideas for right now... Still have some half-baked right now, but I doubt you'd like them unprepared in the right manner...

Be Seeing You... :o

T.A.R.D.I.S. Log: 31st July 2004, Saturday

23.58 PST Earthican-time... | ...emit-nacihtraE TSP 85.32 | Nearing the Witching Hour...

Since I have a headache, and this day didn't turn out as well as planned (ignoring the fact that I had not prognosticated any specific events for me to attend to [besides the Trivia session {fun, but I did not get as many points | Due to Rick's injecting me with something to hinder my triviating abilities... |}])....

Todays dream.... Involved the Vulcan star-system being made up of several planets, with a black hole right within the middle... :b-day: Also some strange Star Trek reunion that included Captain Chode McBlob of the Jupiter 42 (from the not-so-good Tripping the Rift).....

Right....

Before that, I watched that episode of The Prisoner: "Free for All", two more times... Reminded Recycle to change his channel.... :b-day:

Random moment #1: The magic words from Army of Darkness: "Claatu Verata Nicto"... Are actually a reference unto the 1951 movie: The Day That The Earth Stood Still, whose lines from the non-Earther were:

"Klaatu Barada Nikto".....

....And that was Random moment #1 sponsored by no one worth mentioning... Me

I watched the movie Return of the Living Dead III today... :b-day: Some gore I guess.... I kinda dislike the main-character and her now-zombie girlfriend....

Been reading some sailing fantasy short-story written by Gene Wolfe revolving around this one jade rabbit....

..."The Green Rabbit of S'Rian"...

Pretty good :) It's the first after his introduction in his novel: Storeys from the Old Hotel.

Queen to Queen's Level 3... | ...1 leveL s'gniK ot neeuQ

Hmmmm, running out of ideas.....

.....Reverse the polarity of the neutron flow.... Ah, much better now.... Headache is nearly gone... Chatting with Janie also again... :)

I guess I should end here now....

Until another time... Be seeing you internet neighbor. :)

Love the Prisoner pic! I haven't seen the show in years, but I remember having some really weird dreams after watching it.

I had a feeling Ash was saying that line differently, but I wasn't completely sure until now. AoD is one ultra-cool movie!

19.27 PST Earthican-time... | ...emit-nacihtraE TSP 72.91

Hardly much worth speaking of has occured to me this day......

Am chatting with Janie now, which is always nice. Slept most of the day. :look:

She slept 6 hours. I guess that might be sufficent, depending on certain factors...

Relistening to an episode of George Noory Coast to Coast AM.... It will probably be "Dr. Doom" speaking....

He happens to be a remote-viewer (so he claims)...

...I doubt I need to explain to what is "remote viewing" is...

Hmmmm, they'll be having someone who claims to be the Anti-Christ on that show... His name happens to be Benjamin Krem (sp), which is coincidental since my name happens to be Ben... :bag:

Been going through The Prisoner sites, playing Space Invaders, and surfing the informational highway ( <_< Bad metaphor?) for old science-fictional sounds....

Been updating my Photo Gallery here also :)

Hmmmmm, I'd like to include another Random Moment...

Click for Spoiler:

numtwo01.jpg

6arriv.jpg

The Prisoner, Episode No.1, "Arrival"

I have some black-and-white show playing on my television unit... Set on PBS (KVCR to be more specific...).

I'm not sure what show it is... I think I missed The Lawrence Welk Show...... Maybe it's I Remember TV.... Last week they were showing a Roy Rogers western... He played Billy the Kid in that episode..

Hmmmm, do they still show The Lone Ranger? Been awhile since I've seen it... Also haven't seen Journey to the Far Side of the Sun in a long time too... But I am just writing whatever comes to mind now... :nono:

I need to find more things to do...

hehe ^-^  I love you Ben!

:( I love you too Janie! :bow::look: :)...

Well, I guess I should be going now..

15.33 PST Earthican-time... | ...emit-nacihtraE TSP 33.51

Hardly much of anything for me today <_< ...Besides a few things...

In a Sliders marathon right now... :look:

Sliders used to be my favourite show when I was in 3rd and 2nd grade, since I had some good affinity towards wormholes, black-holes, etc....

I stayed up late again... ...Wasn't able to sleep at midnight, so I decided to eat ice cream and play Space Invaders...

Click for Spoiler:

play-ani.gif

I beated my high score, but not enough required for my name to appear on the Top 100 list of player's points...

I also watched those Amy Winfrey animated series... They had a new episode of Making Fiends...

 Frederick the Canary and Charlotte got eaten by Vendetta's big red kitty....

...Or did they?

 Just now it seems that the Sliders (Wade, Quinn, Rembrandt, and Professor Arturo) travelled backwards in time from one parallel Earth's 1996 to another world's 1984..... Technically...

 From the end of the Eugenics Wars to the year that Winston Smith of Airstrip One got brainwashed by the Oceanian government....

Oh yes, I was talking about those animated online series by Amy Winfrey....

Both Big Bunny and Muffin Films are pretty much good...

:bag: Muffin Films are the shortest, and may not seem very well-drawn...

Hmmmm, I might watch the rest of this Sliders marathon....

:nono: Q Stole My Bike is in San Francisco... *cough-SLIDERS reference...* Hehe, Q-Ball.... Ok, I'll quit with the Sliders references......

Hmmmmm, can't really think of anything else to write....

...Mystery Science Theatre 3000 rocks!...

Thee Doctor is feeling a bit upon the tired side of things... Should get more rest at night, rather than in day...

Oooooh!!! Lava lamp! laugh.gif

......Anyways..... I have done a few things from my last post on to this one...

Yesterday, I rewatched the Sliders episode: "The Alternateville Horror", which was good, but I hated the parallel Quinn who also happened to be a slider... Quinn "Howling Man" Mallory...

Alternative-Maggie was also an "exotic dancer", although Rembrandt Brown seemed to be the one who uses the remote for sliding...

Aside from that, I listened to an episode of George Noory Coast to Coast AM that involved the topic being: cryptozooglogy.

The radio guest's theory on Nessie is that he (or she...) happens to be some prehistoric gigantic walrus....

Also found out why Bigfoot (and similar species) don't have dead bodies out in their forests... Same reason applied to bears, and mountain lions (and tigers, oh my).... Bodies deteriorate, and rodents eat their bones for calcium... Hehe, laughcont.gif

Anyways.... That was the day before yesterday... laugh.gif

Yesterday...

I slept from 7 in thy morning to 15 in the afternoon... They were rerunning a marathon on Knight Rider that I had the misfortune of missing...

But they had another good episode of Sliders at the 17th hour. smile.gif

Episode: "Slidecage".

I involved them getting trapped in a "Slide-cage mechanism", built in the interdimensional war between the humans and the evolved Cro-Magnons (the captioning says it's spelled: Kromaggs).

This device disallows people from sliding out, so they were stuck for a bit on this two-sunned poisoned-atmosphere'd para-Earth... Where stranded humans and Kromaggs fought amongst themselves on that building...

After that, since my father was using the computer, I spent my time reading a fantasy Gene Wolfe short-story about a galleass known as the Windsong, with a dictionary in my lap.

Hmmmm, then I slept two more hours in the couch, while my little brother (who happens to be a tribble, or at least some tribble DNA in him... :assimilated: ) threw my own dictionary at me, and other assorted items... mad.gif

Things after that I seem to unremember, probably because they have no significant meaning...

And so the dying day ends, and today is here (for today)...

Today, I played a few rounds of Missile Command and a version of Super Mario Brothers (both in the style of the 1980s AD)...

After that, I watched an episode of the Twilight Zone but I didn't get to see much of it... :(

Although I did get to see the Quantum Leap episode thereafter. :P

Episode: "Good Night, Dear Heart: November 9, 1957"

'Twas a good episode. Dr. Samuel Beckett leaps into the body of Melvin Spooner, some town's mortician. The episode revolved around the "suicide" (we eventually learn it was murder later on... | ...redrum) of some German girl who was the last in her family... Until her death. I think I'll watch for the episode tomorrow early morning also....

Now...

Chatting with Janie (TimeLady_Echo), who is currently in the process of making rice balls for her mother, and was talking to Tal Shiar 8472 (I usually call him Mike).... And they're showing the 2001 movie: Reptilian, which I shall watch later, but not now.... borg2.gif

Well, I guess I'll be seeing you later...

*Quantum leaps out*
