BakulaBabe 2 Posted May 20, 2004 hmmm....Vancouver or San Francisco for Chinese Food... (The Chinese food in SF is excellent - I know, I've had it! Be sure to go to Chinatown!) I'd like to go to both Canada and Australia.
Vulcan IDIC 0 Posted May 20, 2004 Agreed, San Francisco is a wonderful city and Chinatown is very cool with excellent food. I got to eat there the last time I went. Anywhere? I guess I would go to Austria and Switzerland or maybe Ireland (there is so much fighting there though).
BlueCrystal 0 Posted May 20, 2004 Germany. I would probably have to go by myself but it would be to Germany. My father is second generation American as he says. When I visit him for a week or two I tend to come back home with my father's accent in tow. I want to visit the country and see possibly want my father's family may have seen or knew of the old streets and villiages. Although years ago I called to Germany for my genealogy studies to find family members dates of birth and to work on the family history. The villiages and many of the town from which the family came were leveled during the war and many of the records were lost. The work in genealogy will go on though.
