v_seven 0 Posted April 20, 2004 I just watched this episode today and I was nicely surprised to see Diane Muldaur in it....I wasn't a big fan of hers in TNG, but I really enjoyed her in this TOS episode...she was a very beautiful young woman....
Jeanway 0 Posted April 20, 2004 HUH I don't understand your question VS, it's a kind of brain-twist for me. Could you explain it to me, Please?
fenriz275 0 Posted April 20, 2004 Are you asking if how attractive someone is to us effects our reaction towards that person? I personally both liked and disliked the Pulaski character. I liked her bluntness but I didn't like how she seemed determined to antagonize Data. As for that actor on TOS, I remember she appeared on the series but nothing more than that. Isn't the above all a longwinded way to say Huh? or what.

I was just commenting on the episode, it stuck in my head....no question really ...just inviting comment for fun...
LadyNarana 0 Posted April 20, 2004 "Is There in Truth No Beauty?" is the name of the TOS episode, guys. This episode was never one of my favorites overall, but I love the scene of her in the corridor when she's trying to convince the others she's not...well, those of you who've seen the episode know what the next word should be. A good TOS ep.
Ace 0 Posted April 20, 2004 I also thought that was a great episode. Diana definitely looked different, and she was a very talented actress even then. That's probably one of the few TOS episodes I wouldn't mind seeing a couple more times.
Admiral Kirk 1 Posted April 21, 2004 I liked that episode too. The fact that the Enterprise accelerated to warp 14 (old scale) is interesting.
APW 0 Posted July 7, 2005 Great episode. I too enjoyed Diana Muldaur's performance/character on this episode.Couldn't stand her Pulaski character on TNG.
Kor37 9 Posted July 8, 2005 I've always enjoyed Diana Muldaur's work. I liked the Pulaski character better than the Crusher one. In her younger days, she was a real hottie. You can find her on just about all of the old series back then including 2 TOS episodes.
TransporterMalfunction 1 Posted July 9, 2005 I've always enjoyed Diana Muldaur's work. I liked the Pulaski character better than the Crusher one.337999[/snapback] I fully agree. I have always found Diana Muldaur to be a fine actress and she really puts in a good performance here.
Bethlehem 7 Posted July 9, 2005 :) I completely agree with Kor37 and Transportermalfuction.
Mr.Picard 12 Posted July 9, 2005 I also agree. I enjoyed both performances on TOS and I really like Pulaski as well. She was really beautiful back then on TOS.
Spike The Trill 0 Posted July 11, 2005 I never cared much for the character of Pulaski on TNG, but, I did like Diana Muldaur's performances in both of her TOS episodes.
Theunicornhunter 2 Posted July 11, 2005 Yeah, she even got to kiss Captain Kirk in one ep. :) I liked Pulaski - Crusher annoyed the heck out of me.
Aiya Quackform 0 Posted July 11, 2005 I liked her acting in TOS, but I was also fond of Pulaski. She was interesting, I particularly enjoyed her interactions with Data. It was a good reminder that not everyone viewed Data as just another person.
