Tonite I got to pretend to be important! They let me run an OIC watch for a bit to cover for someone. I wasn't happy about getting called at 10 PM asking if I could come cover for someone, but hey, I got the be in charge for a few hours. luckily it was an uneventful shift.

More good news: Within the next few weeks, we'll be getting the regular influx of O-1s fresh from the Academy and ROTC. this is good for me because our Lieutenant JG is leaving, and with the only officers incoming being Ensigns, it means I will be "Frocked" to Lieutenant JG.
