Delta's log star date 05/08/04

Hi everyone, I could not post yesterday because we were really busy with family stuff. My mum had a hospital appointment which took up most of the day and some other stuff that I can't say about.

 

It's only 08.00 here but it is already swelteringly hot, we have had beautiful weather this week. On Tuesday afternoon there was a massive thunder storm the power kept going on and off. It was amazing to watch we were standing at our front door watching the storm when a pair of frogs hopped across our path. It was very strange as we have no ponds around us at all.

 

I don't know what i'm planning to do today, I think that I will just play it by ear. :o

Hi Odie and Hang, my mum is ok thanks. B) The Docs think that she has a problem with her inner ear and have given her some tablets to help unfortunately they are making her feel like rubbish at the moment. B)

 

We have had a busy few days so I have not been able to post but hopefully it will quieten down a bit now. It is still really hot here, we had another thunder storm yesterday but it didn't last long. B)

 

I was very sad because my Angel fish died yesterday, I think that the temperature changes don't help them.

 

I don't have anything planned for today which is good because my back is very painful and I could use a rest. I think I will take my book out in the sun later.

 

My best friends son is off to LA today, the lucky thing it sounds like a lot of fun.

I am glad to hear your mum is ok Delta and i am sorry about your 1 of your fish dieing i agree with you that it could have been the weather*massive hug*..it seems we just got your thunder storm its bad weather here right now ..enjoy your weekend and i hope your back gives you a break B)

I am glad to hear that your mother is a right. An inner ear problem is not fun. I have that problem myself and get it to often. I am sorry to hear that your fish died. Change in the weather can do that to a fish.

*Yawns* morning everyone, i'm so tired today. I just logged on here and my eyes nearly popped out of my head. I thought that someone had moved my favourite site then I realised that we had just had a cool upgrade. I must say it looks very good.

 

I have nothing planned for today just some posting. The weather is over cast but it is really humid and sticky, yuck. :P

Hehe woohoo, i'm in an inexplicably good mood today. Yippee!

It started raining here yesterday at 10a.m and it hasn't let up since. It's still really warm though, my friend looked up the weather report on the internet yesterday and it said that the humidity was 98% eewww ssstttiiicckkky :lol:

 

I have no plans for today. Just going to do some chilling and play Final Fantasy VIII I think that i'm addicted to it. I played it for so long yesterday that I got thumb ache. I play too many games and text too much my poor old thumbs can't take it. :)

If your thumbs hurt it means you havent played enough so play more. Also i cant belive its wram for u, it raining here and its cold, well it was yesterday i havent been out today yet. Hope you thumbs will get used to it soon.

Today is my birthday, I had some lovely presents and cards when I got up. My sister and family are coming over this afternoon. My best friend is coming over for lunch tomorrow so it will be a lovely couple of days.

 

The sun has come out again and the sky is clear blue.

Thanks Hangon. I'm having a lovely birthday and I got some lovely presents. So far I have:- a Red Hot Chili Peppers CD their live in Hyde Park one. The Stargate movie DVD the directors cut :) and several other DVD's that are chick flicks so i'm not admitting to owning them (but I love them). Hehe

The sun is shinning and it is a beautiful day. My best friend is coming over at 1p.m. I can't wait to see her we will no doubt sit and gossip for hours, sounds like a good afternoon to me.

 

I had such a lovely day yesterday my family came over and my niece had bought me a bunch of red, silk roses. Apparently a few days ago she went shopping with my sister and saw them and said that she wanted to buy them for my birthday. They are the first present that she has picked out for me by herself, she is just the sweetest :laugh:

 

I had better go and tidy up the place before my friend arrives. Bye for now.
