Delta's log star date 25/07/04

I watched Dare Devil last night and I thought that it was a really good film. I don't normally like Ben Affleck but I thought that he was very good, the sound track was also excellent two tracks from Evanescence and one by Chad Kroeger. :)

 

I have had a lovely peaceful day today and it has been very nice. I have finally finished my form to get help to claim compensation from my employer. I'm going to send it off tomorrow I will probably get nothing but if I don't try then I really will never know. :)

 

That's about it for now. Delta is chilling out.

cool looking fish delta i always wanted a fish tank with angel fish,my mum has a big tank with some really beautiful fish in it :) ..btw i hope you are feeling good...take care and i hope you enjoy your evening

Hi Hangon, thanks. May I ask does your mum keep tropical fish or marine?

 

My dad got his first fish tank when I was about twelve and I just loved it, he kept tropical fish most of the time then had marine tank for a few years. They were such hard work, it would take hours to clean them out because the water had to be perfect before it went into the tank or it would kill the fish. It had to be boiled then put through a de-ioniser then chemicals had to be added so that the fish did not become shocked, it became too much after a while which was sad because the fish were so beautiful. After that we went back to tropical fish and have had some form of tank ever since.

 

Maybe you could get a fish tank for your new place and have an angel fish. I have a black and white marble angel fish he is beautiful, so graceful. :)

Sure you can ask me anything you like Delta..i belive my mum has tropical fish i am not sure which she has i never asked her,but i would love a tank in my new house mabe with some big angel fish or other types of big fish,i remember when i was about 10 my mum bought some little sharks with red fins but they kept eating all the little fish so my mum had to flush them down the toilet,i remember crying like mad because i though it was cool to have these little sharks that dont grow bigger then 7cm swimming round in the tank ...btw your not rambling delta its intresting what you have to tell.. :) .. :)

We have never had a red finned shark, but they are lovely it's a shame he ate all your other fish.

We all went to bed, in the morning I was first up I looked in the tank to check the new fish and they looked much bigger than they had the day before. I looked around the tank then realised the little monsters had only eaten every small fish that we had (just like your shark). We kept them in the end though, and only put fully grown, larger fish into the tank. It was odd because they never ate any of the other fish or even chased them around.

yeah i used to love watching those little sharks swim around i sat for hrs just watching them,that cat fish i have seen before i think my uncle has them as well i am not sure but i will ask him...shame it ate your little fish but thats what happens in the sea the bigger fish always eats the smaller fish..hehe..cool photo delta i can see you really like fish :) ..thanks for showing that photo and telling me the story behind the fish :)

I got a letter this morning saying that I have passed my medical so won't lose my benefit apparently my level of disability is high enough that I can't work. Funny, I could have told them that without a medical.

 

So far I have no plans for today, I had planned to have a lie in bed this morning but the work men came to cut the grass on the green outside my house and woke me up at 07.30. Meanies.

Not much today i'm just catching up on some posting. It's lovely and hot here today and the sun is shinning so I may sit out later.

 

My garden has responded well to this nice warm weather and my Geraniums and African Daisies have started to flower. Yay, I love this time of year in the garden.

Not much today, it's still hot and sunny which is really nice. :)

 

I have had a quiet morning and am now probably going to have a quiet afternoon. I have spent some time posting at the Stargate web site and am going to do some posting here for a while now. :)

The weather has gone all dull here again today, I might have guessed it wouldn't last but never mind. :P

 

My family surprised me with a visit last night which was lovely, my niece is the only person I know who wears long sleeves in summer. I asked her if she was hot but apparently not, this is made more strange by the fact that in the winter she refuses to wear a coat even if it snows. :) :huh:

 

I don't have much to do again today, I may make some cards later. I have not made any for a while and there are some family birthdays coming up so I had better get on with it. :o

I'm feeling horrible today. I have had a headache for the last three days and feel sick and grotty today. I have only been up an hour and a half and I think that i'm going to have to go back to bed. Posting is making my headache worse so I guess I should stop.

I felt bad over the weekend which is not good because the weather was hot and lovely and I spent most of the time in bed. Luckily the weather is still lovely today although it says we may have some thunder storms. Yay I love a good thunder storm. :angry:

 

Wow it's August where is this year going too. It's my birthday in nine days and i'm feeling very old.

 

My niece is coming over in an hour and we are baby sitting her whilst my sister and brother in law have a little time off and go for a ride in their sports car. Lucky things.

 

I only have an hour so I had better go and try and catch up on some posting. Have a good day.

It's hot and sunny again today yay, no sign of the thunder storms yet.

 

Yesterday my niece came over and we had a lovely day she played in the garden and went for a nice walk.
