Hiya folks! I know I haven't been around much lately. That's because my boss decided to restrict our access to the internet!! He must have done some upgrading and forgot to put the block back on, so here I am, for now! Trek on!!

Worst TV show ever? It was a pukingly bad syndicated show called "Small Wonder", where the main character is a robot who looks like a little girl. EEEWWWWW!!!

For criminal acts and violence on the stage
For being a brat, refusing to act your age
For all of the decent citizens you've enraged
You...can...go...to...HELL!

I LOVE TECHTV!!! Everything I know about computers I learned from Leo Laporte. I haven't seen since the merger since I had to give up my digital cable to save money....

Howdy all! Long time no see! I still don't have a computer in my home yet, so I am forced to depend on the goodwill of people who DO own computers or visit my local library to access the internet. Other than that, I'm doing OK and will try to visit again very soon!
Luv U All,

I don't know if anybody noticed, but I haven't been around much lately. The reason is this: a sudden financial crisis forced me to sell my computer. Although I like my new job, they have been cutting back on my hours lately...I only worked 30 hours last week, for example. Because of that, I was a few bucks short on my car payment, and had to sell the computer to make up the difference! I'm looking for other employment, just in case the situation with my current employer doesn't improve, and I hope to have my own (laptop) computer very soon. Until then, I will occassionally visit via my local library's computer, like I'm doing now!

I'm a bit of a skeptic. Can you please proove that Gene Roddenberry Jr. is working on your fan-show?Well, the fact that their first episode was VERY well received and these talented people have absolutely NO REASON to lie to us is proof enough for me!!

My answer is an unqualified HELL YES!!! I remember asking about one months ago and I was told only the mods could have a stfans.net addy. I want one!!!

V'Ger was the "threat that could destroy the Earth" in Star Trek: The Motion Picture. Of course, the Enterprise was the only starship within range to stop this menace, and even though the ship is in space dock with refits barely completed, Admiral James T. Kirk takes command of the ship from Capt. Will Decker and our seven reunited heroes fly off to save the Earth.

IT HAD BETTER BE DEEP SPACE NINE. THEY HAVE CONCENTRATED ON TNG WAY WAY TOO MUCH!!!!!Mr Berman states in the interview that this movie , if given the go-ahead, will be a prequel. Sorry, no DS9 there. I just wonder if any of the characters we know and love will make cameo appearances...for example, Picard begins telling a story about his days in the academy, and *flashback* the movie begins...

ive actually heard two stories on the kiss... one was that shanter insited he would do it and spock was supposed to at first.. the second was that kirk was written in origionally to do it.. which is rite?I heard the original script had "the kiss" happening between Spock and Chapel. That's because many fans wanted to see good old Nurse Chapel get what she so desperately wanted. The script was later changed to Kirk/Uhura. Why, I don't know.

I know books aren't considered "canon", but I read a book that was based in the TOS era (I can't remember the title-old age will do that to ya!) that stated that only bonded Vulcan females experience Pon Farr, and that the trigger is their bondmate entering Ponn Farr. Remember, alot of Vulcan couples were bonded at the age of 7 at the request of their families.

Max out all my credit cards, get a bunch of "payday loans" from a bunch of those places who "give you the cash today and hold your personal check until payday", close out my checking account and blow all the money, then kill everybody I hate.

Uh oh sounds like a bad plot...Prequel...
Remember Generations.....
Generations wasn't a prequel, but I agree that it had a bad plot.

Since I've worked as a customer service rep for both the phone company and the cable company, I've heard TONS of dumb things being said. I can only think of one right now, off the top of my head:
I was working for the phone company at the time, and I was trying to sell voice mail to the customer I had on the phone. I was explaining the benefits of voice mail when she cut me off..."I can't have voice mail." she said. I, of course, asked "Why not?" "Because," she replied, "I don't have a computer!" Duh!!!

Just a few minutes. I used to suffer through the idiocy at st.com, until one day I read a post by somebody named VaBeachGuy33 that led me here. I loved the space themed skin, and upon reading the members list, I noticed that some of the more intelligent people who had abandoned st.com had ended up here, and none of the idiots did. I signed right up and am very glad I did! I even made this site my home page.

I once had two cats, the male was named Spock and the female was T'Pring (pointed ears, get it?). They were both "fixed" of course!

I have an e-mail addy provided by my ISP, a hotmail account and a yahoo account. The e-mail software I downloaded is called Incredimail..I just open one program and it brings up messages sent to all 3 accounts. It has really neat sound effects and animation, too.

1. I am addicted to Mountain Dew.
2. I have never married, but came close in 1996. Unfortunately, he died of cancer before the wedding could take place. I doubt I will ever marry.
3. The aforementioned fiancee was NOT my son's father.
4. When I was a kid, I wanted to be a teacher when I grew up.
5. I have a bad habit of keeping library books too long. I don't even wanna know the total of library fines I have paid!

Well, when plans for the convention were first announced, I was all gung-ho about going, but my extended period of unemployment has changed that. My little "nest egg" has disappeared and it looks like I won't have the funds to attend!

This old bag (me) remembers when "Don't Worry, Be Happy" was all over the radio. I loved the video for the song because Robin Williams was in it!

I thoroughly enjoyed the chat with Roger Nygard. I don't usually visit chat rooms, but that event was fun! Will we have another special guest soon?
