Let me tell you about what happened to me.

One day I noticed a few days after payday I had way less money in the bank than I should have. I called my bank and they said there were about $1,200 in pending charges, but they had to wait until the charges went through to identify them.

So once the charges went through they came through as PayPal, for winning bids on E-Bay (which owns PayPal). Someone took my infornation and created an account in my name and placed $1,250 of winning bids with my money. Those were just the bids that won. No telling how many bids were actually placed.

My bank graciously refunded the money to me, but I had to open investigations with the bank, PayPal, E-Bay, the 3 major credit reporting agencies, and the High Tech Crime unit of my city. They eventually turned the case over to the FBI.

I say yeah, he should have been promoted. I mean he was given command of the "night watch" which means he should have had enough rank to do that. LtJG at least.

Garett Wang did plan on wearing LtJG pips during the filming of "Endgame" as a sort of protest, but at the last minute he forgot.

No they wouldn't consider that.  There would be no way to prove it.  And even if they did, there would be nobody to charge.  It wouldn't be a valuable use of time.  Interesting thought though.

Besides, it's not like you can just subpoena ET to testify in court or something like that.

I'm no astronomer, but it seams to me that if a body

1) orbits a star and

2) has enough mass to affect the orbits of other masses

then it's a planet.

I saw it with a group of friends and we were laughing our asses off for hours!

For music I listen to the radio, watch MTV sometimes, or go online. I have CDs but mostly pre-2000 stuff.

For news I go online or watch TV, mostly Fox News. I will buy a paper or Newsweek if a major event happens.

Oh come on now. What would be so exciting about Picard knocking on the window and saying "transparent aluminum"?

The baby looked very small, I figured it was still within the mother when assimilated, thus it's small size.  With the advanced technology of the Borg, all they'd need are nano-probes to stabilize the infant for assimilation, then placing it in a maturation chamber.
