I got a $5 bill and 5 $1 bills at the grocery store, after making sure I gave a $20 and change so that all I needed to receive was a ten and a nickel....

Sir Patrick's in Stratford-Upon-Avon today at a Shakespeare's Birthday party thingy organized by the RSC. There was a parade - and someone had the good sense to take a picture. Here it is. I think he is talking to his son, Daniel, but then, I'm not 100% sure.
I think you are right. I've only seen Daniel at the Chicago Wizard World Comic Con but it certainly seems like the right heighth for him. Also I got the impression that he likes to see his Dad whenever he can, so I would agree, it certainly seems likely that it's Daniel.

Truly a loss of a wonderful person, an excellent actor, and fine Star Trek guest star.

I've got it! It's Mr. Mott! Here he's shown cutting some extra's hair...
Wesley Crusher? :P
Let me see, you like Deanna Troi, right?A lot of this reminds me of my ex boyfriend and me about nine years ago. He kept nagging at me to finally watch TNG because it was his favorite show. I refused for weeks because I said I wasn't interested in "people on a starship wearing ridiculous-looking pajamas".
I gave in after weeks and weeks of endless nagging, and well... seems I was interested after all. At least in one particular series and in one particular character.
Well yes. I do. (To some extent, anyway. Nowhere near being my favorite, but she's alright. Liked her a lot more after she finally stopped whining and started to wear a uniform like everyone else.)
I know it's incredibly hard to guess who my favorite character is, it's not that I'm actually using my nickname in order to try and hint that I would marry him right away or anything... :P
This is where I should go change your name to something to do with Wesley lol
He's a bit too young for my taste, actually - I prefer older men.
And no, while we're at it, it ain't Worf either. Too aggressive. Riker has too much hair in his face. Data's too unemotional and LaForge is too nerdy. Hmmmmmmmmmmmm, who can it be... :P

Sir Patrick talks about Stratford-Upon-Avon in this little article here.
Very interesting. Is there any more info about the lecture mentioned, or what Sir Patrick talked about in detail?

It's a shame Joe is no longer with us. I recently lost a couple relatives who were older, but when someone dies so young, it's always extra sad.

Regarding 25 year old socks: could be worse. Could be 25 year old underwear...

Our farm had an old outhouse. The worst are pit toilets. I also still remember the rank smell of an outhouse on a National Forset site. Beautiful site but stinky toilet.

Thanks VBG for putting up the chat room. I hope members make use of it again often enough to make it a positive feature. PLEASE use good judgement and some good taste when using it.

I own a few T-shirts. Had a star Trek Academy sweatshirt but it shrank in the dryer. I definitely wear them to conventions and ocassionally other times, though not too much. Don't want to wear them out prematurely.
