  1. I believe Alan Keyes recent Senate candidate in Illinois and VERY conservative, Black Republican said he liked Star Trek in either Chicago Sun Times or Chicago Tribune - could be verified. Also the old show In Living Color used to do Star Trek parodies some writer or someone on show must have liked or watched Star Trek.

Perhaps writers on SG1 are also fans. Does ST.com have any such info I wonder?

  2. On TAS the Animated Series there was a Tribble episode More Tribbles More Troubles I think and there was a tribble predator but it could only handle normal sized tribbles not huge ones. As far as the guy only ship I'm afraid the whole place would be trashed in a year, it would smell terrible and there'd be fistfights in every corridor - sounds like a Fox Show. :P

  3. This was a very fun episode to watch. I remember the tribble predator the could not cope with the giant tribbles. Koloth was an excellent character and I didn't realize that James Doohan did his voice for this episode. Stanley Adams did a great Cyrano Jones. It would have been great to see him reappear as this character again. Try and see this it's worth the effort! :P

  4. These people seem to not be sensible. Perhaps you should hunker down and be very quiet for a while and try to figure these people out a little. You do have to work with them, unless you decide to bail out and go to a sane workplace (just kidding - there are no sane workplaces - just kidding AGAIN) Good luck!

  5. The live one is more animated - wait - I think I've confused myself, or not. The animated one will always remain in shape, even if it does run funny. :P

  6. Yes I watched it when it originally aired. It was the only Trek we had but it was also pretty good. James Doohan - Scotty - did many of the extra character voices.

You should watch it if you haven't!

  7. I watched it when it originially aired. I enjoyed many of them but the one I remember the most was the one where Spock goes back in time to correct a change in the timeline where he would not be on the Enterprise because he died as a young boy.

  8. I liked him in both, but agree his character was more fully developed in DS9. His relationship with Bashir was great and I agree that it was enjoyable to see his character grow and enjoy his development. He is yet another supporting playre that grew into a great character.

  9. My lest favorite Trek movie is definitely V. Shatner's direction was disappointing, pulling up another previously unknown cast relative - Sybok - was annoying, and the row row row your boat part was an embarrassment. The first movie is my next least favorite - it drags - but it did restart the franchise! :P

  10. One of my favorite scenes is when Kirk and McCoy are about to beam over to the space station and Spock says, "Be careful, Jim" and McCoy reply's "We will!" I love those Spock McCoy interchanges. Including the one when they are discussing Genesis and McCoy gets mad at Spock's logic and Spock replies, "Dr. you must learn to curb your emotions or they shall be your undoing" (or words to that effect.) One final favorite moment: when Kirk tells Khan "Here it comes" and the Reliant's shields go down. I love this movie! :yahoo:
