In Sacrifice of Angels the Founder said to send a message to a listening post in the Gamma Quadrant.
As far as I know the wormhole hadn't opened so that's some more evidence.

Click for Spoiler:
Great episode! I was actually held in suspense throughout the whole thing, especially when Archer was setting the charges. The ending doesn't bother me, I look forward to seeing how this pans out.As for the ending, I'm going to go with the Vulcans and Sherlock Holmes on this one. We should not speculate and try to figure oout what happened since we do not have all of the available facts. I say wait till September and spare your self the headache.

Ok, here's one
Throughout the series, we see from other characters their concern for their Captain. So post ways that you have noticed. I'll start us off
In the Best of Both Worlds when the awayteam returns, when questioned about Picard, Worf responds "He is a Borg" in a very hurt, defeated, and sounding pretty lost in despair.

Starfleet vessel controls are able to be customized to suit the individual. I guess like modifying your desktop.
It might have been that the Kazon were able to change the words into their language.

I watch Star Trek or "Whose Line is it Anyway"

I subscribed to ST Mag right close to 8 months before they discontinued it.
Man that was a great magazine...

I voted for George but I always love how all of the characters interact as a whole. Why George? Is it the yelling, they lying, the infatuation with Marissa Tomei (no offense, can't remember how to spell her name!)?
I have no idea but they all have something that makes me laugh hysterically.
Here are some random quotes for your enjoyment
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Kramer--Do you have any reason for getting up in the morning?
George--I enjoy getting the daily news!
George--"The sea was angry that day my friends!"
Newman--"When you control the mail, you control...information!"
Kramer--"Yeah, then I opened the door to the bus and kicked him out at the next stop!"
Jerry--"You kept making all the stops?"
Jerry's g/f--"I'm sorry Jerry. I can't be with someone if I don't respect what they do."
Jerry--"You're a cashier!"

There is a town in New York called Romulus. I got a picture of the sign but I don't know what I did with it

Ok, I'm still kinda new to the Original Series so can someone describe the bridge stations of the ship?
Start from Chekov's station and proceed clockwise describing the responsabilities of each station and any observable euipment (like those viewers on Spck's and Sulu's consoles)
Thanks for the info!

It was not until some time in the eighties, did people finally see The Cage broadcasted. It is a shame that NBC thought it was "too cerebral". It was definately the better pilot. I also like Majel's role as number one better than the silly Nurse Chapel.Of course it was too cerebral, didn't you see the Talosians!?!?
Anyway, I have only seen the Cage of the two so I will have to stay undecided.
Just a side note, did anyone notice in the cage that Spock calls Majel "Number 1" too? Since she is the Executive officer, it that legal or should we just forget it because Spock is awesome?

NO' IT'S NOT A TOPIC FOR A TALK SHOW!!!
Anyway, one thing I always thought was funny was that Starfleet had the same uniforms from TWOK all the way until at least the death of Jack Crusher.
Then the uniforms get changed three times during DS9! Can someone tell me about this?
Actually, this brings me to another thing:
How come TNG and DS9, when on the air together, stil had separate uniforms. My personal explanation (since no one has givin me the REAL reason) is that DS9 uniforms were for Starbases, while TNG uniforms were for starships (Since Odessey crewmembers from "The Jem'Hadar" had TNG uniforms). But I would prefer to get the real explanation.
Thanks!

Worf--"Wesley? THE BOY!?!?!?
(The Dr. Crusher replies in an offended tone for some reason)

Well, the Federation probably thought it could handle "one single Borg cube" without any help of the Klingons or Vulcans or Andorians or whoever...How wrong they were...
Since there are many species in Starfleet, and Vulcan, Andoria and other planets helps Starfleet with supplies and funds since they are meant to defend the Federation I wouldn't say that they didn't help.. I'm not even sure that many of the other planets have combat ships, since Stafleet is supposed to defend every planet that is a part of the Federation.
Well, since Vulcans and Andorians are parts of the Federation, they would be serving on Starfleet vessels (the Captain of the Saratoga was a Vulcan)
As for the Klingons, I think I read somewhere that a Klingon ship did participate but I can't be sure (I probably imagined this). But perhaps they were delayed.
I think they would have helped though, seeing as Klingons love a good battle.

In a scene in this episode, there is a shot from near the viewscreen that includes Chekov, Sulu, and Kirk. A few seconds later, the camera switches position to somewhere near Spock's console facing the viewscreen, sowing the backs of the actors' heads.
If you look at Chekov's seat, you can see it is clearly NOT him, even though he was there mere seconds before!!
The "new Chekov" is taller, thinner, and has blonde, brown hair
Check it out!! then reply to this with your thoughts.

I do not cry. Hoverver, I may get a little misty eyed when I see an emotional episode of Star Trek :(

Ah, thanks for the info. Perhaps I will not purchase it now lol

Many thanks to Spike's Trek Uncut Friday night, otherwise I would have had to wait awhile!
Anyway, this epidoe was excellent. Politically this episode was a disaster. A governments falls, peace treaties are broken, provisional governments attacked. Dukat AND Garak fighting together! :( (That part was great btw)
Not to mention the battle outside the station. This is definately first or second on my list of best battles so far, involving both space and ground combat.
One thing they didn't mention was the number of casualties.
How many do you think there were and post any thoughts you had about the episodes to if you like.

Hey everybody.
I seem to remember a PC game where you played a Vulcan character. Does anyone know what game I'm talking about?

It is rumored that there was a bathroom behind the main viewscreen on the NCC-1701 and NCC-1701A bridges. It is also rumored that is where the 2nd season Chekhov met the 1st season Kahn. He was so embarrassed to leave the bathroom with eveyrone looking at him that he stayed in the bathroom the whole first season. :PAs for the NCC-1701D, they do have a bathroom. At least they do at the replica at Star Trek: The Experience where I had my avitar pic taken. It is directly across from the enterance to the observation lounge a few feet away from Worf's tactical station. Good thing, too, as you know how much he loved that prune juice! :P
Correct, that is where the Bridge's bathroom is. In Descent ( I can't remember which one) you get to see a security officer come out of it
There are more bathrooms on the starship they just don't show them becuase there is really no need. Why do you all want to see the characters go to the bathroom anyway?!

I used to have that cassette until my brother's tape recorder destroyed it. But yeah, all of the songs on it were hilarious.
