I didn't agree with many in this block.

2 or 3 out of 11 are dead on, the rest he/she is off from a little to a whole lot. Lists are always like that though, this at the top when it should be at the bottom and this is at the bottom when it should be at the top.

  2. I voted yes.

But hey variety is the spice of life.

If everyone was the same life would be boring. ZZZZZzzzzzzz...

And I've met NASCAR fans that are sooooooo obsessed they blow thier $$$ for food, clothing, transportation, housing on NASCAR bedsheets, lamps and whatnot, now I call that weird :elephant:

  3. May I say Noone knew what a romulan looked like before Kirk saw one. So maybe they had heard of the Gorn but never encountered them or there ship

It's possible about the Gorn, but we now know that at least some Vulcans knew what the Romulans looked like.

Naaa, It was just same old HUGE Enterprise problem for 4 seasons, can't meet Gorn, Ferengi, Borg, Romulans... Just break the cannon/mythology of Star Trek... Over and over... and meet them anyway.

    Peace,

  4. I found this on: http://www.79jewels.com/startrek/tos/Rankings.html and I thought it would be good thing to share. I found because I was stunned that STF.NET members hated TOS episode Savage Curtain saying at at the very bottom along with Spock's Brain. I always enjoyed it.

  5. I GAVE IT A 5!

I pretty fall in line with most Trekkers on topics such as; Borg Kids on Voyager... hated it. Horrible idea.

Next Gen Shades of Grey... hated it. Worst Next Gen episode ever.

    And so on...

But come on, Savage Curtain was AWESOME! Surak, Kahless and Col. Green all wonderful characters.

The scene where Spock 1st sees surak and expresses emotion; Classic Spock moment and dialog.

And the scene where Lincoln attempts to rescue Surak and discovers him dead...

Kahless says "Help me Spock, Help me Spock"

Col. Green to Kahless "Now can you cry like Lincoln?" Kahless "Help me Kirk... Help me Kirk..."

Lincoln to Kirk "James... Go back.." Lincoln falls over with a spear in his back!

    TOS at its finest!

  6. "You can have your Tiger Woods, we’ve got Senator McCain.”

Former Army Staff Sergeant David Bellavia - introducing McCain to a crowd

    "What did he just say?"

  7. I'm breaking with those posting above me and giving it a 3.

Maybe its not fair, however this kicks off yet another 3 story arc. If there was one that could have been squeezed into the other 2, this is the one. Robert Foxworth as V'Las was terrible. He was the same charcater as Admiral Leyton from DS9. Only more emotional this time. How anyone could believe for one second he was a Vulcan is beyond me.

  8. From me it's like saying which one of your children do you love more?

You love them the same for different reasons.

Lost in Space never had the thought provoking stories like TOS it was more escapism, but good stuff as well.

  9. Michael McKean as The Clown was AWESOME!!! He made the episode. A big 5 for the Thaw.

Back to weeks with Tuvix & The Thaw strong finish on season 2 of Voyager.

  10. I loved it! I give it a 5.

The only thing I wasn't crazy about was getting rid of Tuvix.

If they could have kept him around somehow... He had lots of potential.

  11. I voted Corina Arazius, although the Kirk one was pretty hilarious.

I love Star Trek themed avatars for this website (I don't think I'm alone, just look at who the 2 top vote getters are).

Corina Arazius put gets my vote because it's her in the pix & I love seeing everyones pix attached with thier posts. :elephant:

  12. Robert Wise (the director) needed to get slapped for this one. Too many scenes just drug on and on.

I remember when I first saw it V'ger vs. the Klingons, Spock on Vulcan were the 1st two scenes & I thought 'This is going to be great'... Unfortunately it was all downhill after that.

Sure there were some great moments, but overall not a great film.

    I give it a 3.
