  1. I gave it a 4.

Good story, Kirk I'm falling head over heels and have had my heart broken in few minutes keeps me from giving it a 5.

If the story played out over a longer period than what the story mention of just a few short hours it would have been better.

Spock: "The joys of love made her human and the agonies of love destroyed her."

  2. I gave it a 3.

Alien entity takes over the Enterpise, not all that fresh. I suppose Next Gen did it too only a decade and a half after this episode.

Next Gen's were even less fresh.

In the end the entity was imprisoned alone on a moon or planet like Armus in Skin on Evil, or the 'God' being from Star Trek 5 was. And again this episode was long before either.

Perhaps I was bit harsh with my 3.

  3. Well, we do have a real TOS Red Shirt as a member... maybe we should call him in... Of course he hasn't visited in a while though.

Hey, we should invite him to play trivia with us.

Feel free to PM him, Mr. Paskey used to visit from time to time and pop into the chat room on occasion also. It'd be cool to have him participate in some chats, trivia or threads. I just think it's awesome to have a TOS cast member as a member of the board, heck I think it's awesome that a TOS cast member even knows of STF's existence lol

That would be cool. I've always wanted to ask him how he got killed in one episode and mysteriously came back to life in the very next episode....... :vbg:

It's sort of like Kenny in South Park.

  4. The original cut was like... Yikes! That big time dictor needed to be slapped!

I can't imagine he didn't think some of those scenes were just way too long.

The 1st scenes with the Klingons, on Vulcan were soooooo cool then the entire movie just went into slow motion.

  5. I suck at these but I'll play along for a moment...

Suddenly a Department of Temporal Investigations Agent appears through the Guardians aperture knocking the Romulan insurgent and her weapon to the ground. The Agent reaches for his phaser while the Romulan woman is scrambling to pick up her weapon. They reach their weapons at the same time - aim at each other...

(I gotta go, anyone who wants can take my position over)

Well, if it's one of those two Federation bureaucrats that came to question Sisko after meeting Kirk we are in trouble.

Romulan Sub Commander Corina Arazius will kick their bu_ _ and vaporize them with her diruptor.

    Yikes, we're doomed!

I now I'm just watching the Dabo Tables, but come on! Where's Security, Red Shirts, Section 31? Anybody?

Well, we do have a real TOS Red Shirt as a member... maybe we should call him in... Of course he hasn't visited in a while though.

And that's why the Romulans think they can get away with this sort of obvious infraction of the Neutral Zone treaty.

  7. 5 out of 5 no doubt about it!

    Many great scenes.

And the overall theme of 'You are the sum of your experiences' = GREAT STUFF!!!

Vastly superior to the fair at best Next Gen premier Encounter at Farpoint.

  8. I voted 4.

    Pretty entertaining.

I guess Malik looked a lot like a donut in his last scene.

Just a thought, this 3 episode arc had more violence than entire seasons of Next Gen did.

  9. Very sad. :superhappy: Robert and I went right after our wedding in '98. Wish I could see how it's changed since then.

I imagine It's a lot the same as when you went, sans the addition of Borg 4-D. No doubt a fun place, but 4 seasons of Enterprise and nothing really reflected that other than one picture on the wall and one or two items in the museum. Enterprise isn't my fave, but it was the most current show. And of course nothing on TOS other than a few photos and a bunch items in the museum.

I don't want to knock the place, I'd go back in a NY minute, however freshening things up more probably could have helped attendance.

I'm lucky I finally went before it closed.

  10. If evenings spent drinking with your buddies are growing a little stale, then set your phasers to stun by cracking open a set of stubbies using a Star Trek bottle opener.

The Star Trek Bottle Opener: out of this world?

This bottle opener is no ordinary Trekkie tool though, because the drinking gadget is light years ahead of its rivals thanks to the unique Starship Enterprise design.

Although it doesn’t boast many fantastical specifications that we can get you drooling with, the tool should at least have the lid of your beer off in warp speed.
