I'm going with NEW Uhura (Zoe Saldana) ^_^
I am really looking forward to seeing Zoe Saldana on the BIG screen next summer as Uhura!
And her parents are from the Dominican and my Grandmother is also from the Dominican!

I went with TOS.
Tough, tough choice.
One thing I HATE about these type of polls is people are going to vote based on what they have seen and I'm sure there are those that are voting and really haven't seen all the series. To dimiss an entire series that you haven't even seen more than a handful of episodes isn't very fair.
I picked TOS based on it was more groundbreaking for its day than I'd say any of the other Trek series were. Even to this day it may the most creative of the lot. And this goes without saying, but it started everything, the ship design, the entire Trek mythos TOS was the foundation on which all the series were built.
Without TOS there would be no, STNG, DS9, Voyager or Enterprise.

You scored as a Federation
You Are The Federation, You prefer to be alone and learn. You enjoy helping people and know how to talk things up. You would help people into the spotlight before yourself
Federation 70%
Romulan 70%
Klingon 55%
Ferengi 55%
Borg 55%
Vulcan 50%
Dominion 50%
Cardassian 45%
Actually I am just as much a Romulan as Federation.

I voted for 2001: a Space Odyssey. (groundbreaking)
I know it didn't have a lot of explosions and killing, but an excellent movie.
Note: I would have voted for Alien, however it wasn't on the list.

Finally, more teaser to consider. This at least partially makes up for bad news about ST XI "not" being represented at the Comic Con.Pines intensity as a young Kirk is clicking for me.
Quinto's Spock is so on the money it's scary.
I need to work a bit to see Zoe Saldana as Nichols but I'll keep an open mind about it and hope JJ directed her well enough to pull that character off.
I'm curious, Uhura's presence instead of McCoy makes me wonder if Bones has less of a role than she does.
Nero, purportedly a Romulan of post NEM time, has me thinking he may be a Klingon instead...
I think they put Uhura up instead of McCoy for a variety of reasons all tied to marketing.
Throw a hot young woman in there or a 4th guy?
Appeal to horny young males.
Appeal to women moviegoers.
Appeal to minority moviegoers.
Uhura can fill a lot of gaps McCoy as the 4th cacasian male on the poster would not. That's simply from a marketing standpoint.

A FIVE!
I loved when Cyrus Redblock and his henchman try to leave the Holodeck at end. A season one classic.
Great Stuff!

-
I'm giving it a 5.
And I don't know for a villian race that are supposed to be such failures. 2 episodes featuring the Ferengi... and 2 pretty good episodes.
-
I'm giving it a 2.
It's never mentioned among the worst like 'Spock's Brain' however for me its running neck and neck for the worst episode.

1. Season 3- Loved the MACOs2. Season 1- Best first season of any series
3. Season 4- The mirror universe eps were awesome
4. Season 2- It seemed to drag on forever
Season 1 of TOS (the orginal series) was far better Enterprise season 1.
We could put it in a poll if you would like?

Which Star Trek Captain Are You?
in Star Trek Polls
Posted
Which Star Trek captain are you?
You scored as a James T Kirk
You are Shatner! Captain Kirk loves his women and his mirror, not to mention talking like he's reading a very complicated science report in a different language! You're reckless and brave, but also a little stupid at times
James T Kirk 81%
Kathryn Janeway 69%
Benjamin Sisko 63%
Jean-Luc Picard 50%
That's about right.
