  1. Ah...now that you mention it, I've just had an epiphany about Reed.

Reed seems like the crew member with the least to lose, if you know what I mean.

From the beginning, hes been kind of the loner. His only concern has been his job and its what has brought his character any meaning. He isn't close to any of the others except Trip. I can see him trying to sacrifice himself to fufill his "purpose." Afterall..."E2" gave us a glimpse at just how empty his life would have turned out (well..at least in that scenario). Just an interesting afterthought.

  2. My apologies....it seems that I didn't list Dr. Phlox on here. However, I'm quite sure that we won't be the one.

I have mixed feelings about who it will be, but I can narrow it down the some. Hoshi, Hayes, Travis, or T'Pol. They seem the most likely candidates. (T'Pol seems the most likely at the top ranks to go -- just a hunch though)

The promo states "Some"....meaning more than "Someone." So even if Hayes dies (which I'm sure he will), someone else is going to get it as well.

  3. I give it a 10....I could not have given less.

Excellent buildup to the final two episodes.

Ah...and so it was that Degra met his fate at the tip of a reptilian dagger. Shame...Trip was really starting to reconcile with him. What a beautiful moment the two shared, eh? Of course, all good things must come to an end *cough*.

And what of Mr. Reed? All of this death is really starting to get to him. It was quite obvious that T'Pol is starting to respond more often to human reactions (emotions), judging by how quickly she tried to comfort him.

Wonderful episode...but all of this leads to much speculation!! Hoshi was taken by the reptilians!! Probably not a wise move, since Archer is not going to like that one bit.

The promo for next weeks show states that "some will not return", indicating that someone important is about to die off. Of course, from the promo, it seems like Hoshi might be the one to get the axe, but maybe that was just what the promo wanted you to believe. My, how the anticipation is building. Just what I'd expect from ST.

Wonderful acting, good action, plot movement, and some humor thrown in. 10 - No Less.

  4. Ah yes...well the answer to this question may be all too predictable, I'd like to see what the people think. Unfortunately, I think he'll die even though I have no sources to verify this. Seems logical, the good people usually end up dying at the hands of their own. But perhaps not...

  5. Enterprise is pretty much set to go into a fourth season (at least a first half of a season). What we really have to worry about is this next season, because it will be much harder for the show to survive. This third season did really well because the producers decided to revamp the show. I have to admit the Xindi arc has been really good. The producers are going to have their hands full, trying to top it. Not that it can't be done...

  6. Trip and T'pol slept together in Harbinger. It's the same episode when Reed and Hayes fought and they found the first sphere builder.

    Many thanks to Jack_Bauer....

I knew someone would finally bring the detailed facts to this thread.

Yes, it was Harbinger. It seems that a neuro-pressure session went into overtime.

    If you watched tonights episode..."E2"...

It was great to see the expression on Archer's face when he asked who the father was. Guess that cat is out of the bag.

  7. On the other hand, this episode should not have happened.  Since "Our" Enterprise survived the corridor, the other Enterprise should not have existed and been able to help them.

For those who don't know me, I am damn opposed to temporal mechanics.  Gives me a headache.

    Click for Spoiler:

At the end of the episode....you're right, it didn't happen! (meeting the other enterprise). Thats why Archer/T'Pol came to the conclusion that Lorian and the others couldn't have come through the corridor, because the successful passage of "our" Enterprise eliminated their timeline. It gives most people a headache, but I think the conversation between Archer and T'Pol wrapped the loose ends together quite nicely.

Archer said something like "Lorian has years of command experience, I don't think thats the last time we'll see them." but Archer always says that. (I.E. "North Star.") :P

Overall...another 9.5 I think I'm becoming biased to rating episodes higher because we are finally wrapping this arc up. And what an amazing season its been!

I have noticed that UPN has stopped marketing Enterprise completely in my region of the USA (Atlanta). We used to hear radio commercials and you would see promos on TV....but not anymore. Pardon my language...but UPN sucks.

Can't wait till next week....(shaking with anxiety)

  8. I've always thought that Enterprise's episode titles were some of the best of the ST franchise (even though enterprise is still a baby trek in age)

I mean...this season had some great ones.

    "Similitude" "Twilight"....etc...

  9. Hey boys and girls...good to be back after a 7 week (err...something like that) recess. Overall...it was good episode. I give it a 9.5/10.

    Click for Spoiler:

I was a little disappointed at first at how quickly the opening sequence was over, but I'm glad that they moved the story right along. It was not an easy decision for Archer to make but I think that he had no choice. People dislike leaders when they have to make tough choices....its the nature of things.

Can't wait for the nex episode. Bring it!

  10. I think that one important aspect of Archer missing is that we haven't really seen him in anguish. Even Picard broke down sometimes...

We haven't really seen that from Archer...thus making him less human.

  11. I try to watch ENT whenever possible, and as I was watching Azati Prime, a thought occured to me.  I first thought of the Borg when Daniels mentioned "Sphere Builders" and only later remembered the spheres throughout the expanse.  Might the Spheres be related to the Borg?

Fortunately, the Borg have absolutely nothing to do with the spheres.

The spheres were created by the sphere-builders...another alien race.

I think we've only seen one of the sphere builders in "Harbinger."

  12. Hmm...I thought Star Fleet wasn't really a true "military" organization during Archer's time period? Isn't that why we have MACOs onboard?? Thus, I don't think Archer is entitled to send any of his people to death while under his command. Star Fleet isn't civilian, but the Enterprise was not made to be a warship. Of course, given the current situation with the Xindi...I agree that Archer needs to "buff up." But as one of the above posters mentioned...Daniels did say that Archer was the only one who could correct the situation. And he sure won't be as effective from the bridge as he would be in person.

  13. Sure it sucks to wait but it builds up interest and hype. Sucks for us, good for them, which in the end means more. ;) Oh yeah, great episode. It's all about the music hehe

Is it good though? After 7 weeks the average TV Viewer will have forgotten about the anticipation of what's to happen next. Just seems like an odd time to take a 2 month break.

You see...this would be an excellent time for the marketing genius at Paramount to release the DVD box sets of season 1 and season 2 during the down time.

Hah!! That would be a logical business decision...but we can't make those in America can we?

7 weeks down time before sweeps is NOT a good thing. They are trying to delay momentum until the sweeps arrive. Some people will have lost interest in that time span except for the dedicated few. Arrrggh maties.....there be rough waters ahead.

  14. I thought it was great, I was totally absorbed in the action  ;)  I did see a couple of things coming, especially after watching "Strategem", but the writers did manage to throw in an unexpected twist.

Wasn't this the season finale? Several members mentioned having to wait six-seven weeks to see what happens. Can someone fill me in on the scheduling?

Season 3 is not over. We still have several more episodes with the Xindi arc. It picks up again in April. The season will finish in May and then you have to wait until Fall for Season 4.
