I've heard about it, and saw some of it in the documetary Trekkies.
I really want to go there...

She was a Lieutenant. I think Sasooni is correct, she was probably playing the role of an Ensign.
I'll need to watch it again though.

Usually we're in the middle of a drought were I live at this point, but we've had over 12 inches more precipitation this year than average...At this point it's amazing if we don't have a heat advisory of a flood watch in effect.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY GERANIMO!!

Myers-Briggs would say that you are an INFJ (Introvert, Intuitive, Feeler, Judger). In Star Trek language, you share a basic personality configuration with Benjamin Sisko.

About half and half correct.

Neat song! Thanks VBG

I think it was just a little too hotel like for my taste, personally I think the interiors of Voyager and Enterprise NX-01 hit the spot on what the interior should look like for their times. JMHO.

So I gotta actually go into the Voyager forum to chat about these books? Uh oh...I have to be careful...if I stick around in that forum for too long, I'll start Voyager bashing en masse, so watch out! :biggrin:It's in the Voyager forum because it's a Voyager book. *shrug* I didn't post it

If you just avoid the other threads and stick to the two about the Homecoming books, I think you'll be fine

LOL!!!

I think it'd be fun to have a good TOS style episode! Bring on the tribbles!

Kirk On NCC-1701-DTroi: Captain I would like you to meet my mother.
Lwaxanna:*Purring* It's a pleasure to finaly meet you Captain. GRRRRR!
Kirk: AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH! *Leaves gaping Kirk-shaped hole in the hull*

Awesome! All the stuff they're finding out there is just so interesting!

LOL!
Try giving a dog ear drops...I just had to do that to my dog a little while ago. Poor old girl got a yeast infection in her ear, when we first started giving her the drops, it took two of us to hold her down (she's part German Shepard and who knows what else, BIG dog  )

I like two toppings: Pepperoni and black olives. But, I'm the only one who likes that in my family, so I usually just get pepperoni

Wow! That's really interesting! Thank you for sharing!

LOL! That was hilarious! And gross!

I agree. I was quite surprised when Enterprise first started and they were portraying Vulcans in that light. There was no sign of hostility or mistrust in TOS and no mention of it having occurred in the past.Maybe they wanted to portray it as a parent-child relationship. In Enterprise, the child is at it's teenaged stage, a bit rebellious and headstrong. In TOS, the child has grown up and recognizes the value and wisdom of the parent. I dunno, just a thought.
That sounds reasonable. Perhaps, after this whole Delphic Expanse thing is over, the Vulcans will realize that the Humans can (for the most part) take care of themselves.

Spring for me.
Same here. Spring has some of the nicest weather around here...If we get one  This spring, winter was a wee bit long and then it rained nearly the whole month of May.
But usually, Spring is the best time to get out on the bike and go for long distances. I try and do most of my major rides around May, because that's when I feel like I'm in the best shape.

My normal scares people all the time.
Same!!

I think the first full episode of TOS I saw was Trouble with Tribbles

I think they promoted Janeway to admiral as a way of thanking her for leaving Neelix in the Delta Quadrant and sparing the Federation that particular experience.
Poor, poor Nelix.....Why do so many dislike him so much?
I think it was the over-happy-everyone-needs-my-help attitude...And his horrible cooking.
I, personally don't think he's an aweful, not my favorite, but not my least favorite.

Barge of the Dead.
The fact that B'Elanna was coming to terms with her Klingon and Human self and learning who she had to be. And I loved the interaction between her and Janeway. It was a very powerful episode for me
