From someone who was working in a photo store, which specializes in restoring old photographs, when a lady brought in a old picture of a man sitting behind a cow, milking it.Her: "Can you fix this picture for me?"
Me: "Sure. What would you like us to do?"
Her: "Can you move the cow?"
Me: "Move the cow?"
Her: "I want to know what my great-grandfather looked like. That's him."
She pointed to the feet sticking out under the cow.
Me: "I don't think we can do that."
Her: "Just move the cow over, and we'll be able to see his face."
Me: "I'm sorry. We don't have the technology to do that."
Her: (getting huffy) "Well, I guess I'll just take this somewhere else."
LOL!!!

Poor woman...I hope she figured it out eventually! :)

I think that letter/article hits the nail on the head.
I think that if they had taken Voyager and Deep Space Nine, and put them on larger, more popular networks that they both would have done better than they did. I also agree with the author on the fact that they were just doing too much at the same time, I think that if they had written the episodes and done the casting, and made contracts for the actors and just waited for a couple years untill they weren't so busy, then it would have done better.
That article touches on so many different points that I don't think I can respond to them all, but I do think they did a very good job of anylizing what went right and what went wrong, and what needs re-thinking.

A close one between Shinzon and the Queen, but the Queen took my vote. They defeat her again and again, but they never win

Eh, here's a question for the EMH & Janeway fans: How'd you feel about seeing their cameos in the TNG movies?I thought it rocked

TOS: Spock
TNG: Q/Data
DS9: Jadzia Dax/ Major Kira
VOY: Janeway/Seven/EMH/Torres (Yeah, I know, I can't make up my mind
)ENT: Porthos/Reed

I'm a bit young to want to go back and change things. But I think it'd be fun to kind of 'observe' life thousands of years ago, and before humans were around.
All from a very safe distance of course

Weird
...Personaly, I think that the theory about it being a piece of whale sounds plausable. Or some gigantic overgrown jellyfish.Okay, next time I go to the beach, I'm not going very far in...

Tough choice! I'd love to be able to shapeshift or fly, but I went with telepathy, just because it is such a powerful thing. To be able to simply summon things to me would be awesome!

I was at a convention in March and the "new" TNN which is now Spike had a booth. The rep stated that DS9 was supposed to start airing in early 2004 and that Voyager would start airing as well but didn't have a year. I would love it if all the Star Trek series were on one station. Currently, the series are all over the place and at very odd times. Depending on what city you live in also dictates which series you can see. To have them all in one spot at a decent time would be awesome.Yes!! I may have to try and convince my parents to get cable if they do that

Well it wasn't exactly a good day. Still a lot of pain when typing, especially the amound I have to type when at work.I'll likely be calling the Doctor soon to take me off typing duty again.

That stinks...But at least you'll get to take it easy for a little while longer.
I hope things get better!!!

Was that sckool house rock? (shivers) Nice video, but the song was too much! :)*starts to sing*
We the people, in order to form a more perfect union, establish justice...
*gag*
Our social studies teacher in sixth grade wouldn't stop playing that song...

Must ...get... it ...out... of ...head...

Hey if its good enough to memorize the preamble than it must be doing something right.

I agree though. once you hear anything from SHR, its hard to get it out of the head. "I'm Just a bill" comes to mind as being one of the worst.

*twitch*
I'd forgotten about that bill one...*sigh*
Now they're stuck in my head again. I have to find a good song and get something else stuck...
 -

I can't wait! I'm really looking forward to season three!

I hate having to choose only one.
Same here. I wound up picking Data...but I like everyone else on that list to...
-
Also if I remember correctly, I thin seven said there were only 3 or 4 borg space hubs throughout the galaxy. Will have to watch episode again and find out. There were only six hubs in the known galaxy.

I think Archer is going to let her keep her current possition on Enterprise.

But one was just creepy. This girl I didn't like had just left elementry school, and I was glad. A couple weeks later I had a vivid dream of her walking up the hill from the busses into the building. About a week later, she came back.
That one just sticks out in my mind when it comes to dreams...
Most certainly a premonition dream! Do you hope that kind of thing happens again or was once enough? I thouht it was kind of neat...but I wouldn't want to have them all the time...That would just be creepy

I can't wait, Amazon.com is supposed to deliver it sometime soon...Along with my AP Modern Europe reading assignment...

Let's see...
Kate Mulgrew is, at the moment in New York, still doing her one woman play about Kathrine Hepburm, I think it's schedualed to end July 13th.
Robert Duncan McNeill is doing some directing, including something called Dead Like Me that is going to be on Showtime.
Roxann Dawson has also taken her turn at directing, mostly on Enterprise (Dawn and Bounty) she also did a Charmed episode, Lucky Charmed
Jeri Ryan appeared with Michael Dorn as two of the presenters at the Fouth Annual Hollywood Make-up Artis and Hair Stylists Guild Awards at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Feb. 16.
Those are the ones I know of.
