  1. In the episode "Resolutions," Captain Janeway and Chakotay are forced into exile on a planet, because they've contracted a deadly virus. While on the planet a touch of intimacy is brought into the relationship between the two. But as the plot develops and the two return to the ship, they resume their traditional relationship.......We all know that Chakotay and Seven eventually fall in love. And the development of the relationship between those two was fascinating and totally unexpected( at least not by me), especially since I remember the first drama between them in the episode "Scorpion part 2."...............While I have no problem with the relationship as it developed between Seven and Chakotay, I'd always hoped that eventually he and Captain Janeway would grow closer together in a more romantic way. But I guess as with captains in previous series.....a permanent romance was just deemed not appropriate for one in a captain's position........WISHFUL THINKING!!!

  2. Well, I've read all of the comments, and I guess I should also add mine. Being the HUGE Voyager fan that I am, I would love a movie about what happens once the crew is back on earth. But I'm beginning to believe since the most recent Star Trek movie was not a box office success....probably what will happen in the next movie (if there is one) will be a mixture of characters from TNG, DS9, and Voyager. :)

  3. To ktrek and voyagerboy. Thank you both for your thoughts. I will definitely look for the books that are coming out and I will check out Virtual Voyager......it sounds like fun. Voyagerboy. it seems like you and I are in the same boat. I miss the Voyager series so very much. At least for the moment UPN in my area still shows reruns. When that ends, I'll have to resort to the many VHS tapes I made when the show was still on the air. Again thanks for both of your thoughs. I hope I will also hear from others. :)

  4. Maybe it's the fact that I miss the series so much, but does anyone besides me wish that there could be a movie which continues the story line beyond what was in the final episode? I guess I really wanted to get a feel of what was going to happen on earth to a crew that had been lost in space for seven years......especially those who'd been part of the Maquis, and Tom who had been serving time in prison, when the ship was lost. In addition there was Seven, who didn't even remember anything about earth. I would love others opinions about this :)

  5. :) :) While I liked the Next Generation, I enjoyed Voyager more than any other series, because of all of the relationship issues it dealt with.......I supposed that's the psychologist in me coming out. I tried but I was never able to get into DS9........just never could identify with the characters in the series. All of the characters in Voyager at times had their shinning momments. But I supposed Nelix was featured least of all.

  6. Xenexian,

I think that Porthos will forgive you. But I agree that Seven of Nine was a much more interesting character than Kes. As you stated, with each episode that feature her, there were always new struggles to over come and face as she regained her human qualities. I often thought of her as one suffering from post traumatic stress disorder. Thanks for your comments.

  7. There has always been controversey surrounding Kes leaving the Voyager series, and Seven of Nine's entry. Although I was sorry to see Kes leave the show, I found Seven of Nine's struggle to regain her human qualities, and her turmoil with the Borg identity she'd know most of her life, a most interesting addition to the Voyager story. I never viewed Seven as a mere sex symbol to draw back male sta trek fans to the series. True Jerri Ryan is an attractive woman. However, Seven of Nine was definitely more tha just a pretty face.

  8. These Quotes are from the episode "Muse"

Torres is on board the damaged Delta Flyer trying to repair it. She has been given food by an alien who treated her and saved her life when the Flyer crashed/landed on his planet.......The alien also needs information from Torres about Voyager, for his next Play.

"Are you in love with Tom Paris?"..............the alien asks.

    "Supper is over!!"...........B'Elanna replies.

  9. I would love a Voyager movie. There are so many themes that could take off since their return to earth. But my feeling is that since this recent movie did not do well, there probably will not be another movie for a long while. If a movie is done in the future, I doubt that Voyager will be considered, because there has been so much controversey about this series.........But of all the series, it stil remains my favorite.
