  1. I think that maybe originally it was from 1992 - 1996, but because of side effects from all this temporal manipulation the point in which that and other things occured probably was changed, and the Eugenics Wars probably was something that occured along with WW3 as a result of these temporal changes, thus why it took so long to repair the damage and why there never appeared to be anything going on during the 90's.

As for why the gal in the Voyager episode had a model, perhaps it was just a concept during that time like many we have about our possible future spacecraft.

Take for example how early 20th century sci-fi writers and illustrators imagined the appearance of craft that would be used to get to and land on the moon, mars and other bodies in the solar system.

  2. Them bringing up a previous ship and (aside from a few SLIGHT changes to the hull) refer to the ship as "yet another alien ship" or such, that and people just leaving weapons with their foes ESPECIALLY when they need those weapons :waaaa:.

Side note, this is my 501st post!!!

  3. You know, i just remembered that TNG episode having to do with the 22nd century scientist rasmussen (or however it's spelled) stealing a vessel from the 26th century and ending up in the 24th century, couldn't we have a glimpse of this in an episode of Enterprise?

  4. Jeffitz, what Georgia is simply trying to do is reintroduce a point of view which has largly been kept from people's ability to consider. They are in no way trying to "get rid" of the evolution theory, and it IS a theory.

What is going on is schools are slowly ending their abdictating that evolution is the "only" way we came about, which is an idea which has been pushed for countless decades now.

The reason for this is more and more evidence which simply shows a lack of a genetic link between current humans and our so-called "ancestors", this is why evolution is still a theory, because it has holes in it with-in the "ape branch".

  5. Just because in the 29 and 31st centuries people have perfected time travel capabilities, does it necessarily mean that they have equally advanced space travel?

Take 7 Days for example, they can travel back a week but travel into space is still (for humans at least) limited to orbiting the earth. I think travel outside our galaxy will still be a relatively rare thing during these time periods, what do you think?

  6. Well, the least that could be done is for Enterprise to stop using these "photonic torpedoes". These things are quite a breach of what has been said prior about weapons use during the earth/romulan war. I think how this can be resolved is by them basically ending the use as a result of cost to keep making them, as well as the need having been all but eliminated due to taking care of the xindi threat. This would be a nice start i think.

  7. Yeah some comics are cool i still have a few..Dan dare, judge dredd, eagle, only i dont buy them anymore because they cost too much money these days IMO .

Yeah i like comics, i'd also be more likely to buy them if they're cheaper. The main problem i have with them is some are priced like a popular science or such, but the multi-comic type books might be worth it if they made more of them. The TOS comics are being reprinted in collected form and i'm planing on buying those. But, sometimes there's a good deal you know?

  8. I think chances are that if the borg met wolverine they'd encounter circumstances similar to what happened with species 8472, only they wouldn't get help this time . Professor X definately would make the borg "go to sleep", only he wouldn't need a "direct connection".

  9. Nighttime is when I am most alert and at peace.

Dittos, it's much calmer then the daytime, i think because more people in your given side of the globe are asleep and not sending out those bothersome brainwaves that bother us more easily. The thing about the sun i agree with, i prefer days where it's overcast and cloudy, although i do admit i like to see a semi-cloudy sky sometimes (i have carpeting that looks that way, it's nice to look at, wish i had that on my ceiling though). Plus, the only time i get to listen to coast to coast am is at night . I think i'm 1/4 vampire btw, i sometimes have this urge to bite someone and, nm. Let's just say i'm a bit more cranky at daytime.

  10. Guys, gals, the main problem would be in it being (1) against your will and (2) having RFID, the latter providing a possibility of the aforementioned Biblical proportions, of which i don't want to see occur. The bigger problem is when people want to push RFID, there have already been cases of it being utilized illegally and without the knowledge of many people. If the chip helped my memory (and God knows i need it badly) but didn't have anything like RFID in it and was something i could choose to get, i might be ok about it. But technologies like this are warning of potential abuse already, as i mentioned.

  11. Really? You didn't like it? Bysty? I thought it was alot like "Mad Max" Anyone else think so? I really liked Kevin in " Dances with Wolves" { Tutonitutonka Au Washu }  Only watched that one about 20 times  Was "Open Range" like it jaz? OH, Scaleman, your Avatar really bothers me. Always has. :picard-sith: Sorry. What exactly does it mean?

*sigh* I didn't think anyone would raise a fuss over my avatar, sheesh. It's supposed to be an insignia/rank pic using an image from the Timeship Relativity as a base (the rank is commander btw). I have a picture circling the design added. Oh, if it looks like a shield with a cross it's not supposed to, sorry.
