  1. I know how you feel, 8247. I started getting a pop up that was porn on my computer and i was shocked. I deleted every thing i could find with its name, but later i had the problem again and discovered that the files had renamed themselves and one was even called "Brent" (as in Brent Spiner who plays Data) I went through again and deleted the ones with the same picture and now i am ok, but i think i am gonna install some more protection! :look:

  2. I think it is possible for humans to develope that gift and even by the time TNG takes place, but why they would not, i don't know. I have always liked the idea, though. Guess that is why i wrote Lessa to have it, but she is not human.... :look:

  3. The minutes tick by as the Enterprise continues to empty her torpedo bays of her gifts for the warbird.

Spock is not surprised to see the Romulan ship explode in a blaze of glory, but his is taken off guard...slightly, but the sensory information he is reading.

    Spock>

"Captain, just before the Romulan ship was destroyed, we were boarded. I read a transporter signature on our starboard, deck 9....ten Romulan life signs."

The jubilance on the bridge dies down at once.

  4. i didnt know what the 1st show i watched was but i 1st watched st tvh and saw spock  :dude: it was so amazing! he was flawless in his robe! :o i wanted to watch st tos for the rest of my life from than on!  spocks mine! *evil laughs* all mine! I GUESS I AM NOT A TREKKIE I AM A SPOCKIE AS MY FRIEND CALLS ME! ;)

Gee, i wonder if that makes me a Data-ie? Too bad that sounds stupid!

  5. Dsbs is actually an ORIGINAL Soong. She has been here and a Data fan for a LONG while.

I am Lessa, Mod of TOS and the Movie and the second of the sisters. Dsbs and I met at StarTrek.com and i have known her and Takara the longest. Back on that board Takara and i both responded to a post of a mamber and were called the Soong Sisters and the name stuck.

Her and i are the ones that started it all.

However, i don't know "emil"

But i know that all Data fans are welcome here on this board.

    Data Rocks!

  6. I don't think Lore is a pain in my side, but then i doubt Takara would think so either. Lore has a need for attention and to be in charge, but he has very bad people skills.

But, like is said before, there is more that could be done with him, including Data fixing the errors in his ethical program and allowing him to live!

  7. For the time that ENT takes place, i don't think it would work, but during the time when TNG takes place, sure! If the mission was one that did not involve being on the front lines of battle, then why not? The Enterprise - D had families, there is no reason why Picard could not have been married in this case, but he chose not to.

During war time of times when there are other hazards, no, but in TNG time, i would have gone as a wife if i have the chance!

  8. Those are true. I ahve heard some of them before like the bell for the dead, but the thresh hold, that i ahd not heard! But i love the first stuff about the weddings and baths. I ahve heard that people used to think that batheing was unheathly, i guess they thought that itching and stinking was a good thing. ICK! :P

  9. I have been married three times, so i think i can offer something here.

I could see a marriage where you did it for the finances, but what you expected from each other beyond that support would have to be clearly defined so that one did not go in hoping for "favors" while the other had no intetion of giving that. It would seem to me that there would still need to be things taht you had in common or the time alone with each other could still lead to fights just like a conventional marriage.

Still, if it was me i would hold out for love, or find a room/house mate.

  10. and surely there was SOME question that only Kirk and Spock would know the answer to. I'm sure there are some that only my best friend could answer about me, so there had to be with them! But heck, on stun, he had a 50/ 50 chance of being right if he hit one. He should have gone for it, however he did seem to enjoy the fight.

  11. When Geordi arrives, Data nods at him. Geordi sits beside his best friend and Data decided that if there is time, he will invite him to an holodeck adventure during their next off duty time. Data had been working on a new one for over a week now and he believed that he had it as perfect as he could make it.

Putting this thought aside, Data turned his attention to Captain Picard as he came to stand by his seat. The man pulled his shirt down, unnecessarily, and looked over the faces in the room. Data knew this rigid body language. What would follow would require quite a bit of his operating space.
