  1. Spock nods and turns back to his view. He recalibrates the sensors for a more intense scan at the heart of the storm. After several minutes of attempting different methods, Spock says:

“Captain, I still cannot find any evidence of a ship’s hull. However, I am picking up anomalous energy readings that do not conform to those expected for an ion storm. There is something in that storm.” Spock turns from Kirk to look ominously at the view screen.

  2. I don't think i would be a good captain, but first or second officer, yes. I think i could do well with an away team and even first contact, if i had the training (which you would get, of course). I can follow and i can lead and there have been may times on my life when people would defer to my even if i was the younger one. I work well in a crisis, too. But, the role of captain, I think would be too much for me, since it causes you to put up a sort of wall between you and your crew. I don’t work that way. I try to find something in everyone to like.

And ensign_beedrill, you are soooo right! The tough jobs always go to the low man on the totem pole.

  3. Suddenly Spock pulls back from his hooded viewer. After double checking his readings, he turns to Kirk.

    Spock>

"Captain, my sensors indicate that we are being scanned, and the source is emanating from the direction of the ion storm. However, there is too much disturbance to detect the presence of a ship at this time.

  4. >Spock, about 10 minutes later.

"Captain, sensors indicate the presence of an ion storm ahead, on an intercept course with our current heading. I recommend a course correction to avoid difficulty, and an increase of speed to warp 3." Spock pushes a few buttons. “I have sent the course corrections required to Mr. Chekov.”

  5. I saw it on the same day that i saw the new Star Wars, and i have to day that i liked it far better that SW. The music was very good too! I got the DVD for my hubbie for his birthday cuz he loved it so much too. We can't wait for the next on!

    My favorite part was

    Click for Spoiler:

when Aunt Mae knocks on his door and says something about him being in his room all the time or something and he tells her he's not dressed and closes the door and the camera pulls back to show all the webs all over his room. That was a great part!:clap: Caution, Spider man in training!

  6. There was one of the movies where Kirk said that he knows he will die alone. I wish they had done it so he was right, not that i wanted him to die alone, that sounds so sad, but because he seemed so convinced he was right.

  7. I am not normal, so normal people tend to give me "that look".

You know, the one that clearly states "you are crazy" Well, sweetheart, I think to myself, I have been crazy for a LONG time so where the hell have you been!

as my husband tells me, I am crazy, but life with me is never boring!

    I don't DO normal!
