    I don't know how it got all out of wack like it did. I had to search back to page 365 out of 505 to correct the mistakes that had been made. I'm not going to go through 140 pages though to correct all of the counts lol.

    VABG, I didn't get directed to any advertising site... I just got an error message that the page would not load/could not be accessed. It happened again yesterday, too. From 1PM-5PM Eastern

    Sounds like something with your internet, for some reason the domain isn't resolving for you. I was on several times during those times yesterday and all was well.

     

    Is anyone else experiencing problems?

    Ok, the counting little by little got off track back on page 365 and then somewhere else between here and 365, so I'm setting the counting to it's right number.

     

    The way you can tell is at the top right of each post is this "Post #10085", "Post #10086", "Post #10087" and "Post #10088". Since Post #1 is counting #1 the counting shoudl stay exactly in line with the post # in the right hand corner of each post.

    If your Video card has an S Video out jack on it then it should work. You'll have to hook it up to the S Video in jack of whatever you're hooking it to, then set the computer to extend your desktop to the TV. You may need to hook the S Video cable up then reboot the computer though so the computer will recognize the other display (TV).

     

    Once it's rebooted, do you know how to extend your Desktop?

    Before, I'd been simply able to type in http://www.startrekfans.net, and I'd be able to access the site... but for the past couple weeks, I haven't been able to.

    I don't know what might have been the problem there but I did post in another thread that due to a security hole in the old Invision software that we were using for the board that someone was able to hijack a lot of our traffic and divert it to an advertising site.

     

    That required a board upgrade, which was done and we were without the portal page for a couple of weeks (until I had time to reinstall it). So maybe you were experiencing problems related to the hijacking.

    I couldn't access this site for a few weeks... would give me a "(Browser) cannot load this site" message. Any idea what was going on? Sorry if this has been answered before.

     

     

    And oh yeah, I'm back. You may quiver with fear now. Or not.

    This is the first I've heard of this. How were you accessing the site? A bookmark, a search engine or a direct link?

    I wouldn't bash it, I've never watched it (that I can recall). I just had no interest in it after hearing about changes they made. It may be a very well written and acted series.

     

    I'd have had the same reaction if when Star Trek TNG came out and they were re-making the original series but in the new one Spock is a woman.
