I got new headphones for the computer. My mom had noticed that the old ones were broken. :dude:

I didn't know about the gift. So I was very happy about it. It may be a small one, but it was the nicest one I got (besides my trek related gifts, of course). :dude:

That's cool too. :dude:

Yeah, the way I look at it is like this. The trinkets and toys will eventually fade away but the memories of time talking and enjoying a movie or whatever will always be there.

We went to see TLOTR but it turned a little sour, late comers spoiled the start of the film. There were two empty seats to the right of me and three people sat down in them, if it had not been Christmas...

Everything was great this year. All of the Trek stuff we got was cool (see the thread AE has the link to) and everything else was great too.

We had a great time at my Mom's for dinner.

Everyone, did you get what you wanted for Christmas?

There is no one to buy me gifts so I never bother wanting one.

I did want my niece to like the doll I gave her and she did - so Christmas was a success for me.

I did not get anything. I did get to take the day off last minute though so I got to sit home by myself and surf the internet.

My coolest things either show my age, or my weirdness -

A Christmas card from my parents featuring a piper in our main clan tartan

Two DVD sets of "The Avengers" (1966 - the only year I didn't have any eps from)

A 3 CD set of award winning barbershop quartets

2 tapes (4 eps) of "Johnny Quest" (The one I remember from the 70's)

Oh, sheez - I have to stop. I sound way too weird, even for me...
