Without boring the pants off of everyone I'll give a brief run down of our itinerary. We started out by flying to Vegas, stayed there overnight and then flew to Oregon the next morning. I have a childhood friend who lives there and her oldest daughter graduated high school this year which was the main reason for the trip. The day after the graduation we visited Crater Lake in Oregon (the pics with snow). From there we drove south into California. Our first stop was Bodie, CA (the ghosttown, for more info go to www.bodie.com). The next stop was Yosemite, then Sequoia National Park, then on to Cambria, CA (photos of the coast) and while there we did see the Hearst Castle (http://www.hearst-castle.org/). Luvin1stdegree 0 Posted June 23, 2008 Thank you everyone for your comments. I wasn't planning on posting any photos because I didn't think anyone would be interested. The trip was something that had a lot of meaning to me (aside from seeing some great places) because this trip was an anniversary of sorts. This summer marks 30 years of friendship with the women was I was vacationing with. In these busy times it's very rare that the three of us can get away together for a week and just enjoy being together on a "girls getaway". Now I can start planning next year's vacation....
