Madame Butterfly 0 Posted July 21, 2005 Last summer was abnormal. Typcially July works it's way up to it. August is usually the hottest and most humid. It's a bad summer because you can't get out and enjoy the day. It's like winter in reverse, trapped indoors due to the heat instead of the cold.
Odo 0 Posted July 21, 2005 Can put on enough clothes to keep warm but the oppisite is not true. my air is working overtime. also growing up on lake huron i love the cold weather and winter.
Madame Butterfly 0 Posted July 21, 2005 I spent my summers 30 minutes in from Lake Huron, on the second largest inland Lake. I understand the lake breezes, and also just floating to keep cool. I so miss the Lake. I need to go home. It's the one thing I can depend on. The one thing. Besides myself.

Odo 0 Posted July 21, 2005 Ok i know it. like to forget the lakes north of here. was water skiing on one wiped out the one ski did not come off broke my leg.
Madame Butterfly 0 Posted July 21, 2005 Ouch!!! That's not good!! I still waterski, but I took a break for a time. Had a nasty fall, and landed smack on my tum, and it knocked the air out of me. If my sister hadn't noticed that I couldn't have breathed correctly, Id have most likely been in worse shape. I prefer wake boarding now.

APW 0 Posted January 1, 2006 Massive storm system rolled through the central valley today, downing powerlines and trees and causing limited local flooding. I spent most of the early afternoon clearing tree limbs and debris out of my yard and off my roof. Another storm is coming in at about 2 or 3 a.m., but my area is only going to catch the trailing edge of it (while L.A. and areas further south get hammered again). So I'm not too all fired concerned about it. The rain and thunder helps me sleep, anyway.

3 of 7 0 Posted August 17, 2006 Right now the sun has gone down, so it's dark. But otherwise it's warm and almost no wind. But you should have seen the weather that was here at Tuesday! Here's a pic of that weather (sorry for buildings being blurry, but it's hard to hold the camera still for long moments (I used long shutterspeed, and I don't have anything to have the camera on)): » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «
