TNG quiz a day

Recommended Posts

Mr. Barclay is correct. You may recall after passing by the house of ill repute Worf asked Alexander if he had really written the program by himself and Alexander said that Mr. Barclay had helped a little.

Quiz away guys.

OK, speaking of Holodeck-aholic Barclay, in "Hollow Pursuits" who appeared as the Musketeers he fought in his holodeck fantasies?

I believe it was Picard, Data, Geordi and Riker.

You can have my turn if you want, alterego, assuming I'm correct.

Star Cross, and Medals for Valor (though I don't remember the exact title. (Pretty bad, I should know these by heart, I should get some sleep!)

OK, so Data majored in two fields at the academy, what were they?

He majored in probability mechanics and exobiology.

All of the medals were:

Starfleet Command Decoration for Valor; Starfleet Command Decoration for Gallantry; Medal of Honor, with Clusters; Legion of Honor; The Starcross

Next question:

What casino game to Data win big at in The Royale?

Craps (Had that when it was first posted but, had second thoughts, jeez I gotta stop doing that!!!)

OK, Why did Data have to win big at the craps tables in the same episode?

So he could buy out the casino (I;m not completely sure about this, so I wont post the next question)

K: What was the name of Proff Moriarty's wife?

What was the name of the admiral that told Picard that if he has another opportunity to destroy the Borg, he is "under orders to take advantage it"?

Aquiel

In 11001001 Geordi was helping Data with his creativity through painting. Why did Riker suggest they write a paper on this?

That would be Pressman when he was captain of the Pegasus.

What was different about the cloaking device that was retrieved from the Pegasus?

It was a phasing cloak that allowed a ship to pass through normal matter.

That was perhaps one of the best TNG episodes ever in my opinion.

Q: In how many TNG episodes did the borg appear (counting 2 parters as 2 episodes).

The Borg were in Q Who, Best of Both Worlds Part I and II, I, Borg and Descent Part I and II so that would be 6 episodes.

What was the name of the Borg who was Lore's "right hand man" in Descent?

Crosis

What was the name of the Borg that Lore ordered to kill himself to prove a point to Picard? Bonus: What was the point Lore was trying to make?

I'm really confused by your question Yillara. The only one who I could think of who Lore ordered to kill when Picard was present was Data, to prove his loyalty. Is that what you are looking for?

Actually I believe that he called a Borg forward and I thought I remembered the borg being named, Lore asks him to kill himself to prove that any one of the Borg would be ready to die for him, another point of trying to prove where loyalties lie. I didn't realize that my question would be so confusing, sorry about that....

I was really confused so I just finishing re-watching Descent 1 &2 to try to figure this out. There was a scene where Crosis brought a Borg who had disconnected himself from Crosis and Lore convinced him to reconnect to Crosis. That Borg had a name but I can't remember what it was and he's not listed in the credits for the episodes.

That works for me as a new question, the one that disconnects himself is Goval

OK, so you rewatched Descent....Why did Goval disconnect himself from the Borg?
