This is kind of a take off of the Best theme song thread, but visually, which was the best theme song. I'm going with VOY with all the beautful colors, nebulas, planets. They really did a great job with that theme song.

Sry, but I have to say VOY....

Goldsmith did a really good job with the theme going with the visual.

You can actually hear the rocks in the rings of saturn as you pass it...

But that's if you listen carefully...

I had to vote for Voyager for this one, if you look closely you can see Voyagers reflection on Saturn's rings just after it has flown up through them. I think that the attention to detail is amazing in Voyagers opening sequence. <_<

My ST favorite theme song is the original, but it wasn't the best visually....

So I'm in the middle between choosing the Star Trek: Enterprise and Star Trek: Voyager theme songs (for their visual introductions)....

Can't make up my mind....lastresort.jpg42.gif

Enterprise has the best theme song visually. It gives you a sense that this ship is an explorer, doing something that's never been done before.

Of course now that would mean it's Dated because it's no longer a ship of exploration any more.

TNG. Nothing beats the planets and Pat's voice

Best Theme Song...Visually

But hey, you're Mrs.Picard, when Patrick Stewart is involved, nothing else matters to you...

Hey, there are some nice visual shots at the beginning of the segment. Besides, with the ENT D, it adds to the beauty.

I personally liked TNG. I have always like the Enterprise D, even though my favorite series is the original one.

Hey, I said something about the planets, too :nono:

Captain Picard is visible in the TNG intro, too (another good reason for my vote for it :wow: ). Just take a close look at the Enterprise D before it goes to warp after the credits. You see a person walking around in the Observation Lounge. It's Jean-Luc - according to Bob Justman. :nono:

And then the voice... Yes, yes, I know, visually

I had a tough time with this one, i was also conflicted between VOY and ENT, but really, VOY was basically a star trek version of 'Lost in Space' and Ent is explaining the events leading up to the UFP founding, and really, the intro is pretty good. Now, if only they can tell us what that ship flying over the moon is supposed to be  .

Enterprise!

I love all the historical references. It reminds us of where we've come from, how far we've come and how far we've yet to go. It also gives you the feeling that nothings impossible. The future is out there just waiting for us to grab it!
