I'm a Star Trek fan, but very old fashioned: my affinity is for the original series & movies involving the original cast. I've tried watching episodes of the newer series, but to me, it's just not the same. Guess that might make me somewhat limited, but hopefully I may have something to offer from time to time. I used the quote because I too felt that way when TNG. first aired, I was only 13 when I stongly bonded to TOS. two months later I was hooked on TNG. so I understand how you might feel :) . I just finished watching "The Practice"; I'm glad that Captain Kirk has found a friendly planet upon which to retire his command.
