A tornado! That must have been really frightening, i'm glad to hear that everything is ok.

*Yawn* I'm so tired I have hardly slept all night again. :P I should really come and post on here when I can't sleep at least the time would go quickly.

 

Anyhow, I just popped in to say hi as my sister is coming early this morning to help with my shopping then my friend is coming at lunch time so I won't be able to post much today.

 

It will be lovely to see my friend I have not seen her for weeks.

 

My sister and brother in law loved their album. :)

 

I had better go get some coffee. :P

I had a good time with my friend yesterday, it's always lovely to see her.

Im having a retro month this month as i'm playing Final Fantasy VII my old PS game.

 

I have decided to have a Final Fantasy marathon as I have all the games, but Final Fantasy X is the only one I have completed. I usually give up half way through but not this time I will not be beaten.

I'm having a nice day today.

 

I went to my sisters this morning and played with my niece for a while. :o

 

Later my brother in law let us listen to the four new songs that he has written they were brilliant he is thinking of entering one of his songs into a competition on radio 2, it would be so cool if he won.

 

The weather is warm but overcast today so not very exciting. It's still warm enough to sit out for a while, so I think that's next on the agenda.

It is so hot here today it must be at least 25 degrees C. It's glorious.

 

My family came over this morning and we had a good time my mum was doing some gardening and my niece was helping her, she is so cute when she's helping. :(

 

My TV broke this afternoon arrrggghh, it's been acting up for some time but today it just decided enough was enough. Luckily the shop was open so I now have a new one, it's very nice it even has a flat screen and even better it wasn't too expensive.

 

I don't know what's going on at the moment that's the third electrical thing that's broken it the last two months I think my electrical appliances have got it in for me. :(

Not much to say today it's lovely and hot again. The weather report said it would be high 70's for the next few days which is pretty good for England in June.

 

I can't wait for tonight, finally I will get to see the last episode of Enterprise season 3. I have been very good and have avoided all spoilers so I can't wait to see how it will all turn out.

The weather report today says it's going to be 86 degrees today, they say that it will be hotter here than in Turkey. :P

 

I watched the last episode of Enterprise season three last night now I can't wait for season four. What am I going to do on a Monday night now it's gone? Monday night is Enterprise night. :P

 

I have nothing planned for today but it's only 08.15 so maybe that will change. :P

Thanks Hangon. I did not watch the news this morning so I had not heard about Venus, I just went to the Sky news site and found this:-

 

VENUS MAKES RARE JOURNEY

 

Venus is travelling in front of the Sun - a sight not seen since 1882.

The transit began at about 6.20am today and will continue until noon.

 

 

The planet appears as a small black dot passing across the bottom of the Sun.

 

But warnings have been issued about the risk of blindness from looking directly at the Sun without eye protection.

 

The Government's Chief Medical Officer, Professor Sir Liam Donaldson, said people could permanently damage their sight if they fail to take precautions.

 

He said the safest way to view the event is on television or via live internet webcasts.

 

Sir Liam said: "We want viewers of the first transit of Venus since 1882 to enjoy it safely. Children are particularly vulnerable as they will be tempted to take a peek - we must do all we can to protect their eyesight.

 

"Under no circumstances should viewers look at this event directly. The risks to sight from looking at the Sun are very real and could lead to irreversible damage to eyesight and even blindness."

 

He added: "The safest way to view the event is on the television or live webcasts on the internet. 

 

"Using a small telescope to project the event on to a screen is safe but I must stress that observation directly through a telescope, binoculars or camera is not safe, even just to line up the projection.

 

"In addition sunglasses, and photographic film, are totally inadequate and should not be used to view the transit under any circumstances."

 

That is so cool, I wish I had some of those special sun viewing glassess so I could see it oh well guess I will have to watch it on the news.
