  1. I gave it a whole whopping 3, and I think that was generous!!!

    Click for Spoiler:

I would have given it a 9 if it werent for that d*mned ending. I want to know how this alternate timeline thing is supposed to come about from the destruction of the Xindi weapon.

Alien Nazi soldier... Humph. The ending could have been a lot better and I hope that this timeline dosent spark another arc of episodes based on getting back into their timeline. If it does then I hope that Paramount does not renue another season!!!

  2. Actually I have read this book along with "Angels and Demons" and I found both very thought provoking. Dan Brown did do a lot of research before writing both books. I found both to be good reads.

But this is the opinion of one man alone.

    :eekout:

  3. Actually I just read that some of the Core members who worked on B5's CGI team worked on DS9's CGI team too. So it appears that some of the best people in the industry worked on the same projects.

I wonder what would have happened if B5 was given the resources that Paramount had for Trek? No matter how you slice it, both series has epic battles that display the excellent steps that CGI has taken since the 80's.

    *hats off*

  4. Actually the shape shifters usually remain in "The Great Link" which appears as a great ocean of fluid. In actuality it is all the shape shifters in their natural fluidic state existing as "one." They do have the ability to take solid "bipedal" form but usually don’t for any significant amount of time. And they look similar to the way that Odo looks now.

The Dominion is controlled by the Vorta and the shape shifters. The soldiers of the Dominion are the Jem'Hadar a genetically engineered race who are controlled by their engineered addiction to a substance called Ketrocel White.

  5. Enya - La Soñadora.... It is for this reason I am glad I know Spanish fluently. I have provided a translation for all who know the song. Enjoy!!! :tear:

    I the autumn

    I the planet Venus

    I have been an echo

    I shall be a wave

    I shall be the moon

I have been everything I am myself

    I the summer

    I the darkness

    I am the dreamer

  6. I have both games, and the first was okay. The second was definately more evolved and better. A good idea would be to skip the first and go directly to the second. You and your PC will both thank you.

  7. Thank you Jeanway, I also cook rather well too... Something that I was tought by everyone in my family. Cooking is someting that we were all taught at a young age in my family. My mother is a good cook and my father was too.

  8. Do they really still teach sewing (clothing & textiles) in school?  I mean the whole course on how to choose patterns, select fabrics, finish seams, put in zippers, buttonholes  - the whole thing?  And guys take this too?

    I had no idea -

Yep, they still teach it. And I took the class because I had no other option. All of the other classes that were being offered, I had already taken.

Anywho it is not a bad piece of knowledge to have. I actually have benefited from knowing how to sew.

    Who knew?

  9. I am a big fan of both series, and have all available DVD's for both series. I voted Babylon 5. The CGI for B5 was not as good as DS9's CGI, but for the budget that Bab 5 had, they did a d*mn good job.

I am not saying that the battles in DS9 were not epic, but if B5 was given the resources that Trek had, they would have definately turned more heads!
