  1. There could of been an Enterprise episode in the pack. But I probably would not of seen Endgame if it was not in this collection. For some reason I missed much of Voyager's 7th season. I tried to catch it in syndication. But was only able to see a few of the episodes. From what I saw of Season 7, it was probably the best season of any of the series. There was just so much going on.

Is Unimatrix 0 in the Borg collection? I guess I could check it out the next time I am at Sam's Club.

  2. Just think, it gives possibilties for a movie. What happens after Janeway returns. It could involve the Borg. Unfortunately, the producers did not do anything with it. Since Voyager did not get the desired ratings. Another fine thing that can be blamed on UPN. Endgame is a very complicated episode. That may be one of the reasons it is criticized here. It is mainly a study of Janeway herself. The Janeway of the future verses the Janeway of the present. How Janeway may turn out differently.

Voyager had some really well written episodes. Another one in the Time Travel collection, Year of Hell, is one of the best Star Trek episodes ever. That could be another thread.

  3. It was worth the wait. Voyager never got the ratings it deserved. It some good writing and great acting. As for not knowing what happened to anybody, it gave it the feel it was not really the end. I liked it.

  4. It has been a really long wait. For some reason I never got a chance to see this episode. Until today. At Sam's Club I saw the theme set "Time Travel". It has different episodes in all the Star Trek series that had Time Travel. Endgame was on the last disk.

I really enjoyed it. I will need to watch it again because so much was going on. What do you think of Janeway's methods? Do you think she broke all the rules? After going all those years trying to live by the directive.

  5. Do you mean on another show in particular or a week on Trek guest stars on shows in general?

A Star Trek regular (cast member from any of the series) on a non Star Trek movie or TV show. It can be guest spots as well as regular roles. Guest spots may be more interesting. Since it could make the question harder. Other Sci Fi shows are acceptable. But nothing from 24. Since we already had two weeks of 24.

Maybe I should give you an example.

Who did the bit spot Johnny Cab in the movie "Total Recall" ?

  6. From what I've read, they tried to avoid the iceberg but couldn't avoid it in time. With today's improved detection technology, they quite likely would have avoided the tragedy, but they didn't have those advantages

One of the dumbest reasons they didn't see the iceberg in time is because the binoculars for the crow's nest were accidently locked in a locker and nobody knew where the key was.... :elephant: The lookouts were up there with no equipment other than their eyes!

Although nobody in their right mind would have thought of doing this, but had the Titanic plowed straight into the iceberg instead of trying to avoid it, it would have survived. The front of the ship would have crumpled but it would have stayed afloat.

The sad thing about the whole thing is that the ship did not steer very well. Your last point was brought up in the Discovery show.
