I have to agree with the Enterprise A being blown up above Genesis from ST:III being the most emotional destruction, followed by the Enterprise D crashing into Veridian III. For some reason though, the destruction of Chang's Bird of Prey in ST:VI also struck a chord. (maybe it was the Shakespeare quote just before he got blown up) -
Commander Kruge's ship from ST-3 was the very first Klingon Bird of Prey seen in Trek. In ST-4, Kirk and crew named it the H.M.S. Bounty.Yeah, but can anyone remember why it was called that specifically? (why should Master Q set all the questions? lol)
-
Yeah, I remember that, it kinda made me think if maybe we would bump into them later in the ENT series -
Whoever edited in that spoiler for me, thanx - I kinda forgot -
Why Tom Paris? what special feature attracts you to him? -
I think it's a good idea, apart from ships that are involved in the main storyline you dont actually see any other ships doing anything (apart from shots of spacedock or outside shots of DS9) I mean, the enterprise was never just cruising along at warp 5 when it suddenly got overtaken by a ferengi ship on its way somewhere was it? -
For someone to know about a "pre-destined" paradox, they would have to be the instigator of the paradox, or be within a anomaly or be using a device that would allow them to "un-stick" themselves in time to witness the paradox, right?Yeah, like the Enterprise-E in ST:FC which was caught in the chroniton particles or the Krenim Time ship in ST:VOY which had temporal shields which took it out of normal space-time

Not much that wouldnt get you into trouble anyway..... -
Yeah, but it wasnt really the Defiant was it? it was a replacement. Its just not the same dammit -
How about Quark opening up a pet shop and selling them as anti-Klingon weapons? That way he would make even more money -
Do you think Bill Gates is a Ferengi??Nah, Bill gates is more Borg than Ferengi, or else he is a Borg assimilated Ferengi.........

I dont think i agree with that, his acting had a lot of passion in it, which reflected the character of Sisko.
As for my fave actor, it has to be Colm Meaney, I love seeing him in films, even just small roles (I love 'Under Siege')
-
I feel it was a satasfactory end to the show. I am not pleased that Sisko dies, even if he is re-born to exist with the 'prophets' but considering that, it fitted in with the story that preceeded it and I think it was the right way to go. -
It would probably be too rude to post here, whatever it was -
I think bringing kahn back would have been a bad idea. He would have been out of place, and it would obviously have been a trick since everyone knows he died in ST:II -
I like the D..Its looks Regal and Whoops *buttocks*...Plus its BIG..And the bigger the betterBut thats not really true, the D was big because it needed so much room for family size rooms, school classrooms, loads of holodecks, and a big garden etc etc. The Enterprise E is so much more powerful than the D and more maneuverable as well. You always need to put size in proportion, being bigger also means theres more of you for the enemy to hit......

You never really know where the real references stop and our wild guesses start. The scriptwriters are pretty smart people, I think sometimes they deliberately do things like this, just so we can all get together and discuss if its a coincidence or not -
Technically the ferengi aren't a '24th century show' species since they have been seen in ENT, which is of course before TOS -
Ok, so would anyone like to guess at what class it could be? -
Joins Lordoftheborg in his confusion  -
well, biting and broken bones might be his thing......... -
Surely that arguement over the relavance of this topic, made it relavant? Seeing as how the complaint was that it was just full of smilies and such :) -
Your arguement is illogical, your reasons were flawed and therefore open to dissection :)
P.S. Might I reccommend you stop feeding chili to your smillies LordOfTheBorg, turning red and farting fire isn't a good sign

I Prefer the D.Don't know why.Maybe because it does not look like every other Enterprise in design.Maybe because it was the Flagship. But the E is the new flagship, I think it's much better than the D, I do love the D, but i prefer the more sleek design of the E, plus it whoops *buttocks*!!! :)
