I just realized that I can't remember the last time I got a $10 bill as change, but I can get them at the bank if I ask for them.

Star Trek (2009), in spite of my issues with it.
1. The "missing planet". I still can't believe it.
2. The "Star Wars-ish" alien ("get down!") with Scotty.
3. Spock getting all "kissy-face" on screen. I don't want to see Spock kissing anyone!
I'm OK with Spock/Uhura, though.

I have a lot of crochet projects to do, and a few to finish, so why do I spend so much time online?

^^ The same song ^^ is stuck in my head too, so I subscribed to Leonard Cohen's YouTube channel, and a channel that has his lyrics on-screen as he sings.

I have a part-time job in retail, so having 2 days off in a row is like a mini-vacation. The bad thing about it is that I have a lot more work to do when I get back.

All the time! I have an IDIC that I wear on my key bracelet (I wear it on my wrist everywhere every day), and I sometimes were a Star Trek: Enterprise T-shirt.

Maybe if he was with the Rat Pack, without an audience, and after a few drinks. ^_^
1. I amuse myself at work by substituting "naughty" words for proper lyrics to songs I hear at work (but not out loud!)
2. I may never join Facebook because so many of my co-workers are on it.
3. It annoys me when customers expect me to stand around & listen to them talk & talk & talk. I have work to do!
4. I spend a lot of time online. A lot.
5. I wish i didn't have to be so nice to customers I don't like. A few of them think I'm their friend now.

1. The only thing I like about Southern California is the public transportation.
2. I don't like visiting my hometown (Napa, CA) anymore. because it's so snobby, pretentious, & overpriced now.
3. Dystonia has made my posture so bad that I'm about an inch shorter.
4. I won't join a support group because I can't stand listening to anyone's long-winded comlaints about their medical conditions, operations, medications, etc..
5. I have hundreds of favorite sites saved & bookmarked at various sites, but not much time to visit them.

Hubby just told me that IE9 won't work with Windows XP - just with Windows 7. Guess what I have. Oh well, it works.

IIE 8. I'm not sure if it's the latest version.
It looks lie there's a gray box superimposed on top of the white reply box. There's a thin white border around the gray in the reply bnox.
-
I was using Century Gothic font, size 3, and the color white (from the color chart above the reply box). Now I'm using the default font, size, and color. Can you see me now?

That one's OK, and it's my favorite. It makes me crazy that I don't like his singing, because he's a freakin' genius!!! Maybe if I listened to him more often, I could learn to like his singing more.

I'm using IE now, and although the reply box is still gray, the font, size, and color are working as they should. The default text color is black, and on the gray background it's still hard to read.
The pages load more slowly with IE, but they scroll faster.

I just found out what the number next to the New Chatroom link means. I clicked on the number 1 out of curiosity, and found 1 person in the chatroom. Since it's past my bedtime, I couldn't stay.
(Gotta go. G'night.)

Firefox. I upgraded to Firefox 4 a few days ago. It might work differently with IE, though. My version is pretty old, so I'll have to upgrade it tomorrow & try it here.

YAY! I got the color to work by not clicking in the reply box after I click on the color I want!
My netbook has been having problems with 1 or 2 functions at some websites, so this new problem is most likely due to something screwy with my netbook. At least I figured out how to get the color I want!

The selections worked before - I could pick Century Gothic font, size 3, and white. Now when I click size 3, the font selection goes from Century Gothic to Arial. The size goes back to 2 after I click on a color. It's strange. I'll see if anything in my netbook needs upgrading tomorrow & see if that helps.
