I seriously need to get over my (original Trek) Kirk/Uhura and Spock/Chapel thing. The current Spock/Uhura makes a lot of sense. I still wonder what they'll do with Nurse Chapel, though.

They're kinda cute. When I saw the first picture, I thought "Wow! I want that Enterprise!" Then I got to the last line and thought "$69.99? Nooooo!!!"

OK, I'm cheap. At least I could afford the "figure packs"! :biggrin:

Why can't they sell that stuff at a reasonable price? I'd love to have the whole collection, but not at that price.

My first thought was "OMG NOOOOOOOO!!!" Now I'm thinking it might be OK. I'd just rather have Star Wars and Star Trek completely separate by having each done by different directors. Oh well, we'll see.

BTW, I don't want to cry from sadness, unless there's something good at the end.

For the last few weeks, Firefox had this site labeled as an "attack site", although it seemed fine on the few occasions I bypassed the warning page and came here. I ran malware removal programs after leaving, and they found nothing. Does anyone know what - if anything - is going on?

I love the slippers, but I'm not sure I'd pay that much for them, even if they make "happy Tribble noises". I might pay $14.99 for the oven mitt, though, because it looks pretty handy (no pun intended). :biggrin:

Hubby and I saw it last night, and I was surprised by how good it was, and how much I liked it. It seemed to have a good balance of funny (but not too "silly"), serious, and creepy. I hope they do more!

Oh come on! Seriously? $24.99 for only 3 pairs of socks? They're nice, but Sheesh! I thought the thin hoodie with "Spock ears" was bad.

I'm looking forward to seeing it, especially since I was around back then, and was a huge fan of The Beatles (I turned 11 2 months after they came to America).

I still haven't made up my mind on this. At first, I thought it was a hoax. Then I thought "OMGWTF??? Seriously???" After reading some articles about it, I was upset about Star Wars alongside Mickey, Goofy, Dumbo, and Tinkerbell...NOOOOOOO!!!

Now I'm not sure what to think. Star Wars will have a secure future, but I'm almost dreading what Disney might do with the next trilogy (I wonder what they would have done with Revenge of the Sith). As long as George Lucas stays involved with it, at least it won't completely suck.

I'll give it a try, mainly because I'm a fan of Jerry O'Connell.

The first time I read it, I thought "Another cop show, kids, electronic music... ". The second time, I thought that if it's mainly J.J. Abrams' project, it might be interesting. Might. I'd watch it once to give it a chance.

Are they serious? I'm seriously disappointed in some of the overpriced stuff that fans are expected to buy. <_<
