  1. NOTE: This thread is not meant to be a political debate.

With elections in both Australia (13 days to go) and America (something like 36 days to go...?), does VBG have kinda like "ground rules" for support etc...

I know that Qo'Nos is a kind of "adult harbour"...but is it prudent to have a dedicated thread to each campaign? This is going to be an interesting couple of months.

    You decide...or your thoughts..

  2. wow! August 2003, the board was about 6 months old and i was the 400th member, before the .com'ers came. VBG and I talked, Alterego and i had PM wars (remember AE? mate!), Captain Bolivar (he's gone now....) and I used to discuss my fan fic. Captain Jean-Luc Picard and I have had interesting "debates" but talked often. RC and I never really talked. ddillard and bones88 cause of the chat room, and my mod status there. carrion cause hes an aussie, once or twice in the chat room.

  3. I open my doors to you, the STF community. Post episode plot ideas and i will see what i can do about incoporating them into Star Trek: Poseidon which is returning all new in February 2005.

Remember, if you submit an idea you forfeit your claim to it, it becomes the property of me and my company (i hate legal matters). YOU WILL receive a credit on TREKZONE.org and in the actual episode.

    Have fun and post!!!

  5. Star Trek: Poseidon is set to return to our screens next February (2005) as SPN's flagship series, to be released weekly on a new day at a new time on their flagship website - TREKZONE.org - updates will be posted below as they come to hand.

    1 SEPTEMBER 2004:

The new series has been announced. The original first season will be incorporated into the new series, but with greater detail, longer episodes and more character and plot developments. Self contained episodes will be the key to the new series, with mini episode arcs to connect episodes, so viewer loyalty will be encouraged.

Also an email mailing list is being considered for greater delivery of the series to viewers that may only have time to check their emails.

Plot, character and setting details will be released once they become available. Also coming soon is a thirty - sixty second video promo spot for the new series.

    12 SEPTEMBER 2004:

The first season that you may - or may not - have read was a dream. Captain Miller has been in a coma for the 6 months that the adventure was occuring. 2 years later, Starfleet Command discovers that the coma was a premonition - from somewhere... - and they decide to send a retired Miller out to find the Usepians, who just so happen to be in another galaxy. Taging along are representatives from all known races. Details on the ship and crew compliments as well as the main crew are still to be released.

    15 SEPTEMBER 2004:

A video promo has just been released by SPN F&T, check it out by clicking here. It will prompt you to download the *virus checked (see privacy & terms of use for disclaimer against viruses)* zip folder (4.71mb), you'll need something like WinZip to unzip it then QuickTime to play it. Enjoy!

  6. well, there is such a thing as ratings season. Now in ratings season all the high flying shows are run. Enterprise, The Simpsons, 24, NCIS, Charmed... the list can go on...but during this 36 week "season" the network must decide how to divide the program (usually 24 episodes) over an extra 12 weeks, the answer: re-runs. Usually the network places the highest rated first-run episodes on again.

Usually there is a mid-season hiatus, this being over christmas and new year - main reason being that people are with family and friends, so they dont watch TV.

With the "non-ratings" season the network again places high-rating first run episodes on as a re-run, obviously Harbinger and Doctors Orders werent as high rating, so they arent being aired. Also, UPN's Fall Lineup is commencing so "Amish In The City" has begun - and since it has been slated on a Wednesday night, it is better to start it there than move it around. Enterprise has been officially moved to Friday nights and it has been for sometime - this will not change in the near future, but maybe it will - if enough complaints are received.

I agree that UPN commencing its "Next Top Model" programme in the 8/7C timeslot last week, and then move it to 9/8C is a bit stupid (because it contradicts my above statement).

    Any further comments, queries?

    Was i descriptive enough?
