    Yes, and only a very close friend (Very close) calls a Bajoran by their first name. So near the end of the series Odo would call her Nerys but Ezri would call her Kira.

     

    Or if there is a very personal moment, where more personal emotion is intended in the statement then the person talking to her might call her Nerys rather then Kira.

    I just watched 'Starship Down' for the first time last night..At the very end Sisko calls her Nerys at the very end of the show when he asks her to go to a baseball game with him..That's what really brought about my question...Now I know..Thanks..

    I know this sounds like a silly question..Recently I've really been enjoying watching these DS9 DVDs of mine..It's new to me.. :tear: ..Something I've been wondering is what's her first name..I always thought Kira was her first name..But everybody calls her Major Kira and the opening credits list her as Major Kira..Doesn't that suggest that Kira is her last name...( ie..Captain Sisko--Benjamin Sisko..) On the show I have heard her called just Kira or just Nerys..Or of course Major Kira..

     

    Any thoughts anybody..

    Question please. TNG "Companion?" Is this different from The Captains Logs?

    Yes, I'm sure that it is different than the Captain's Logs.."Star Trek the Next Generation Companion"..Revised and updated to include all of TNG TV episodes and all of TNG Movies thru Nemesis..It is a cool book...

     

    By the way..I've never heard of the "Captain's Logs"...I'll have to do a search for it on Amazon..

    Are the DS9 disks really that good?  I was thinking about buying season one.  It has been a while since I have seen DS9 on television.  I would like to have at least two DVD sets from each Star Trek series.  Let me know if this is a great idea.

    I would definately say YES..I have the first 4 seasons on DVD and I thoroughly enjoy them..Well worth the money..I also have the first 4 TNG seasons..Hey?..Why not if you enjoy it?...

    Sounds pretty good VBG..I couldn't resist but read the Spoiler..I can't expect everything to be a surprise with DS9..lol..Can't wait to see that episode..Everytime I watch DS9 I feel like I'm watching a brand new Trek series.. :bow:

    I agree that it will never be done but if it were i would like to see on based on the Ferengi especially now with Rom as Grand Nagus :bow:

    What...! Rom is Grand Nagus?????!!!!What season did that happen in?..I have only seen the first 3 seasons..Just bought the 4th on DVD...Can't wait to see how ROM manages that one...DS9 is so cool..It is fast becoming my favorite Trek series..I agree VBG that a non human Trek movie would be cool and I would like to see it..

    Yes..Finally we are getting there..Season 3 is practically upon us..Pretty neat that UPN has been showing 2 episode nights even if they are repeats..And I did finally see the 1 Ent Episode that I missed..(Cogenitor)..I'm very excited about the new season..Can't wait to see some new Enterprise Episodes..
