  1. :o YAYAYA!!!! to the newbies - grow, grow, grow!!!! hey bytsy, hey 'uni', hey stelfan - rikerchick, you've GOT to check out RISA, and VA - thanks, mate - the happy birthday was the best ... oh, and if you're reading this, thank you Kirstie Alley - you made for some excellent 'material' during my formative years...

  2. I've said it before, and, of course, LOVE saying things again...

TWOK was my rage - Kirstie Alley with ears - mm-mmph!!! It was familial, tragic, action filled, a true drama, and CLASSIC trek...

That being said, I voted for "Nemesis" - when I saw it, it brought back all those old feelings - action packed, EX-cellent storyline, familial in a different way - I couldn't believe there was finally something TNG that compared to, in fact elevated itself over, classic trek (oh, pleese don' be angry wi' mee...) - it was a pleasure to experience, and I was sad to hear TNG finally reached that plateau, only to say...

    good-bye!!!

  3. i've been busy at school since september, busier than i thought humanly possible...starfleet academy pshaw!!! - hooked up w. mac, and coasting into second semester with a more'n decent average, i almost forgot the crew who got me through one of the (!@#?) winters of my life - i count you guys among the best there can be, and look forward to dropping in on a more regular basis...

cheers and much love to you all!!!

  4. I have to disagree with the review. In my humble opinion, Voyager was the best Star Trek effort yet. Indeed, Mulgrew did an excellent job portraying a woman in power, and the series itself took the Star Trek theme to new heights. My only complaint is the finale - what the *! happens, ya know? - mmmm, I smell movie....

  5. I found mine here and I love it. It says the same thing I strive to every day - ever notice, if you're just walking down the street and you look up and smile at that stranger, nine times out of ten they'll smile right back? That's sorta' what I mean by 'smile on...' - I think it's the best thing in the world, when two strangers can share a smile - ok, I'm a total geek and I know it... :P

  6. And sometimes there are posters who LOVE this site and the people who frequent it, but have gotten TOO BUSY to keep up - we like to drop by every once in a while, but may not be recognized due to the time lag since our last visit - ok, holy time to stop talking in the third person ... whew!!! :P

  7. SPACEHUNTER as a series never heard of it. i remember an old 80's movie but not a series. what channel, day and time?

hmmm...I'm lost is Canada, so'm not too sure about a universal time, but here's what I know - the show's a joint venture 'tween Britain, Australia, Canada, is on the Canadian Space channel at 10 pm on Saturdays... the show has a solid storyline, sort of mining operation society in the local solar system - the effects are great, the cast is fleshing out ... sorta reminds me of Cherryh's 'Merchanter' (book) series, but I'm not saying that too loudly... :P

  8. I so miss hanging out on this site!!!! I've been REALLY busy with family over the last six weeks, and have had almost NO time to surf - I won't be back to earth for a week or two yet, but I had to drop a line to say how I miss you all!!! On a bright note, the powers that be accepted my university application for this fall - University of Toronto, here I come!!! Ok, ok, maybe I am a few years ...umm... late, but what the hey, here's to second chances - since I must live with a computer come September, I look forward to your company... ...I just had to use that one!!!

  9. bad, bad bysty......of COURSE they will make a Voyager movie, and it need not concern itself with the BORG (let's be honest ... how long can Seven keep those up?...) - i am so biased (because i think Janeway is my mommie), but i too heard the rumours that DS9 (cast and crew) had done with 'er, so my bets are on the brats from the Delta quadrant ... maybe a flick involving our long lost dinosaur cousins, hmmm?
