Baroque classical - Concerto for 2 Oboes and Strings in A minor, AV 2536,
English Chamber Orchestra...
i know, i know, i'm actually SUPPOSED to be studying - it's on ICEBERGradio.com - 250 stations, one dial - just beautiful...
-
sounds to me like 'permission' was granted - also sounds to me like your 'superior' is a little short in the pants...
think of it this way - when you're eighty, and contemplating beautiful sunsets from your rocking chair, you will look back and be proud for speaking your mind - too many shunt their truth to the back burner in order to maintain the horse-pucky of hierarchy - to one's own soul, it's NEVER worth it...
i have been lambasted for calling a spade a spade, but what would you do? call it a club? yikes...
good luck with the hearing, but in my estimation, you've already won - your own self respect - THREE CHEERS!!!
-
interestingly, my opthamologist and i recently had a pertinent conversation...
apparently, with my glasses (and the fact that i take the time during my examination to get it RIGHT), i have 20/15 vision - something akin to a hawk, though i'm not into rabbit...
that's good enough for me - i know glasses and contacts are a pain, but until someone like McCoy oks' it...
NO WAY would i let a bunch of apes barely twenty thousand years outta the jungle shoot lasers in my eye - i believe Geordi would side w'me...
all the best with your decision...

POOH on BLAH!!!
HAPPY CANADA DAY!!! WE ROCK!!!
with MUCH love to my fellow Canadians...
CHEERS!!!
-
generation, shmeneration - things are different now - wait a minute - a hundred years ago, your age difference would'a been a requirement!!! me thinks yer in the clear...
-
i know a few guyz who dress like barbie...
-
pretend it hurts ALOT - they give you really good stuff... :)
-
i was walking down the sidewalk, and looked up into the sky to see the sun, glowing like a platinum disk through a hollow in the overcast - tendrils of blue seemed to sift from the clouds, reaching out for the disk - it looked like a star with blue flames - it was really neat ... the cloud thickend up a little, then, and i looked around, realizing i was in the middle of a busy street, and looking like a complete dork...
-
i can admit when i'm wrong, EVEN when there've been two wrongs - i've learned to remove myself from worrying whether the other party will ever realize their own error - there's really little i can do about another being...
i can, on the other hand, change myself, and for that , i relish mistakes and learning from them (ya rite, jerk)...
the only time i really hate being wrong is when choice is involved - if i choose a path, and could've/should've chosen another, well, that just sucks...
who is this freak?!? :)
-
:) Mark Farina: Air Farina - Felix Da House Cat, eat that!!!
PS i dig that moniker, 'stoned vulcan' - cool thread...
-
seven's the closest to a human a science officer has ever come, my vote notwithstanding - wonder why that is? - humans are NOT dumber...
-
star trek is what brought us together, and the skin, coupled with our magnanimous subject matter, show who we are - not just a bunch o'Kirk lovers, ya know??? :(
-
i lu-huv (!!!) dancing - colour me (insert here), but house music (new for disco) all the way - there's nothing like dancing 'til the sun comes up, and lookie lookie, here comes summer, too ... ahhh ...
-
i voted for equinox - it was a close tie with endgame, but i'm still upset over voyager's swan song - i thought the actual homecoming was a little abrupt...
equinox had a great storyline, great effects, and showed janeway (in a 'threatening' role i happened to see Archer mimicing a couple of episodes ago) at her toughest, and human desperation at its worst...
somebody slap me...
-
can anyone say 'transporter'? - no pollution, no traffic, and please remove the wrinkles along the way...
