  1. The Holy Bible.

Actually,I have bad eyesight and my glasses are broken (waiting for new ones),so I recently purchased the New testament on CD so I can listen to it . :(

I have boxes and boxes and boxes full of books in my closets,garage,attic,etc....I'm a book junkie.Have been since I was 4-or-5 years old.My mother started me reading very early-on,and I inherited her love of the printed word.

  2. I've started up a yahoo fantasy football league. It's called "trek turf warriors",and the password is "trekkie".The season starts in september. So join if you'd like.My league is for casual fanball players and I've added defensive player spots to the team rosters.Too bad I couldn't add special teams

    Oh,well...

  3. I'm having trouble saving pictures I find on the Net to my pictures file on my PC.After I right click an image,I save it to one of my picture folders and it either isn't there when I call up the folder,or the image just says "image".

It always lets me save the first image I click on.But every image after the first is a no go.

what am I doing wrong?

  4. Okay....in no particular order my top-5:

1.Crazy Horse....for defying an overwhelming power in the defense of his people and his homeland.

2.Martin Luther King....for braving the insanity of his day and age to preach a message of tolerance, brotherhood, and hope (a message that still needs to be SCREAMED today).

3.Ronald W. Reagan....for kicking communism's a** and restoring a measure of pride and strength to the United States in the aftermath of Vietnam and Jimmy Carter.

4.Chuck Barry and Jerry Lee Lewis.... for being the TRUE Kings of Rock & Roll

5.Debra Winger....for being there for me on film when puberty struck in the early 80's...

  5. No....I....just no.

When Voyager first started out it was such a promising show.I LOVED the 1st season. The characters were great, especially Tom Paris,Harry kin,and The Doctor.I even liked Neelix. But something happened along the way.Neelix became a chef and a baby sitter instead of an experienced Delta Quadrant spacer...Paris went from bad boy to model officer, and Harry...poor Harry remained an ensign for 7-years.That and the storylines seemed to become increasingly weak (with a few exceptions).

Aw,to tell the truth...I never forgave them for axing Seska....that Cardassian,I would have sold out the UFP for....

  6. Star Trek fans are some of the loyalist, most devoted beings in this or any other galaxy. We love our Trek and will do just about anything for our favorite obsession. The season sets of the Star Trek shows seem way too expensive.I can't think of any other television show, from the X-Files to....well,anything that costs a hundred or more dollars per season. Is Paramount exploiting the fanbase's devotion in order to rake in the green?I love TOS and DS9,but I haven't paid a penny for any of the season sets and I won't until the price comes down....a lot.

    What are your feelings?

  7. At the risk of sounding as lame as my father did when he compared the wrestlers of his day to mine (back in the mid 80's),I think none of the contemporary stars of the WWE (I still hate calling it that!) are as entertaining as my childhood heroes....men of integrity and honor like the Iron Sheik,Freddie Blassy, and Roddy Piper.

    Not that anybody asked me....

  8. My father's family were originally from Bavaria. We still have a lot of family in Germany. My mother's family history is harder to come by.I know my mother's grandmother was full-blood Choctaw. There may be some Irish blood swirling around my mother's family. All I know is that I have quite a few relatives that look like Colm Meaney (even the women... ).

  9. Do yourself a favor and ignore the local comic store. They're trying to steal your collection.I know.I used to work in a comic super store and we'd get folks in there all the time with no idea what the value of their comics and collectibles were. They'd leave with a couple of bucks and we'd go on-line and make a small fortune.Quark would've been proud!

Take your collection on-line and see what develops. You might get what your looking for (or not).

I wish you luck.I know what a pain moving is (and how expensive it is  )

  10. My great-grandmother was a Choctaw and practiced a combination of Christianity and tribal rites. My mother was Pentecostal. My dad was raised a Methodist, but toward the end of his life he didn't claim any particular sect and only described himself as a Christian.I'm the same way.I'm not Baptist,Methodist,or Lutheran..I'm just a Christian.
