They look like the Bounty Hunter Bousch....or at least,Leia Organa pretending to be the Bounty Hunter Bousch(in Jabba's Palace,episode 6).Virtually identical helmet.Other small similarities.

I always wondered if they were related to the animated series' Kzinti.

I'm afraid when humans do get past that whole darn E=mc2 thing and develope significantly faster-than-light-speed (or light-speed alternative) space flight,we are going to be a very nasty species for the unsuspecting,friendly less-developed alien to run into. :)

I just lack the faith that we as a species will ever approach anything near the level of civility the humans on Star Trek display.

Vulcans must mate once every 7-years.

In-between they can have sex as often as they want to (I think something about this was said in the novelization of Star Trek:TMP by Roddenberry).

Personally,considering the physical strength and endurance of a healthy,adult Vulcan female I'd be worried about Pon Farr :)

I'd also worry about the age thing....by the time I'm an old man and pretty much done with sex,my Vulcan spouse could still be in her prime.

All three Cardassians listed have positives and negatives (and too many negatives for me to select one as a favorite).

Garak seems nice and he helped our heroes a number of times,but at his heart Garak was a cold,calculating murderer who usually only helped out when it benefitted himself.

Damar started out pretty lame,but really developed into a bold,courageous leader near the end of DS9.

Gul Dukat was scary.For all the evil that man stood for,he had a magnetism about his character.I have to say,if I were a Cardassian I could see myself fighting for that man.That's very troubling.

The majority of Cardassians,like the majority of citizens in any dictatorship or military regime weren't like their officials or military at all.I found most of the civilian Cardassians I saw on DS9 (especially when not under the nose of the Osedian Order....or Garak) to be just as intelligent and easy-going as any "good" race on the show.

The Cardassians have a chance to start over now that their once powerful military is gone.I wouldn't be surprised to see both Cardassia and Bajor in the Federation before the year 2400 (Trek time,of course).

We already know from example that Cardassians make good soldiers and scientists.They'd have a lot to offer.
