I think a red rose incircled with 6 white roses, lots of baby's breath.

Just in from the morning soccer game, getting changed for the warmer afternoon game.
Eating some fruit on the go.

It doesn't matter, I like the second link best. -

Ok then, still try to make it original.
Tiny sweetheart roses, in an unusual color, of course telling her that they are unusual because she is one of a kind.
I'm not aware of any good sites that deliver in Canada.

awwwwwwwwwww, Wally, how sweet.
Roses over the net aren't cheap though.
Be original, get something other than roses.
More thoughtful, more uncommon.
Perhaps a bouquet of lilies or tulips.
One of the most memorable bouquets I ever got was small p.ussywillows mixed with peach tulips. It was stunning.

Just finished doing some writing.
Am thinking of making some new skins.
If not, I'll think I'll go off line for the night.

Everything to Me
Liz Phair
I bet it makes you laugh
Watching me work so hard to reach you
You never gave a damn
About all of those things I did to please you
All that you wanted, you found somewhere else
And nothing could drag you away from yourself
Do you really know me at all?
Would you take the time to catch me if I fall?
Are you ever gonna be that real to me?
Everything to me
Lucky I’ve been through hell
Back roads and shortcuts, I know them well
Baby just stick with me
We’ll make it together, just wait and see
Do you really know me at all?
Would you take the time to catch me if I fall?
Are you ever gonna be that real to me?
Everything to me
the walls they close in
the air it goes out
you left with nothing
but a shadow of a doubt
nobody talks,
no one is here
it’s just you and me
Do you really know me at all?
Would you take the time to catch me if I fall?
Are you ever gonna be that real to me?
Do you really know me at all?
Would you take the time to catch me if I fall?
Are you ever gonna be that real to me?
Everything
I bet it makes you laugh
Watching me work so hard to reach you

Back in Michigan, there's a little hole in the wall bar on Michigan Avenue called Millers.
There's no menu, no bills.
They have burgers, fries or onion rings.
They have the best cheeseburger that I have ever found, and I've looked very hard and can't find a close second anywhere.
When you're done eating, you go to the bar, tell them what you had, and you pay there. Simple and there's always a line out the door.
I love my burger cooked medium rare, with thick cheese, ketchup, mustard and mayonaisse.

I love David Bowie, and have been to many of his concerts.
I like his older work, but Heroes is my all time favorite.

(Last night I was thinking about my parents,my grandmother and the other family members I've lost in the past 10-years...too many, and feeling very depressed and dark, then this song came on.It didn't exactly cheer me up,but it spoke to my emotional state at the time.Thought I'd track down the lyrics and share them).I understand how you feel.
Sometimes the songs are so bittersweet, and yet through the tears, you do somehow feel better.
My Dad died in 02, and he and I always used to sing songs together, lullabies. I heard this song by Billy Joel on AOL Lullabies radio station, it is so reminds me that as long as I carry on with those songs, and honoring my Dad's memory, that he is always with me, but it never fails to choke me up.
Good night my angel time to close you eyes
And save these questions for another day
I think I know what you've been asking me
I think you know what I've been trying to say
I promised I would never leave you
And you should always know
Where ever you may go
No matter where you are
I never will be far away
Good night my angel now it's time to sleep
And still so many things I want to say
Remember all the songs you sang for me
When we went sailing on an emerald bay
And like a boat out on the ocean
I'm rocking you to sleep
The water's dark and deep
Inside this ancient heart
You'll always be a part of me
(Musical Bridge)
Do do do do...
Goodnight my angel now it's time to dream
And dream how wondeful your life will be
Someday your child will cry and if you sing this lullaby
Then in your heart there will always be a part of me
Someday we'll all be gone
But lullabies go on and on
They never die that's how you and I will be

I guess the Christian pledge bothers me, because I believe religion is a private matter.
Each student has different religious beliefs.
Under God doesn't necessary mean the Christian god.
PLEDGE TO THE CHRISTIAN FLAG
I pledge allegiance to the Christian Flag and to the Savior for whose Kingdom it stands. One Savior, crucified, risen, and coming again with life and liberty to all who believe.
-
I don't object to saying "under God"
Though what I do find disturbing, is making a pledge to the "Christian flag", as many children do at private schools runs through a church.
Rules apply differently there though, if they don't accept state or federal money.

Judge Rules School Pledge Unconstitutional
By DAVID KRAVETS, AP
SAN FRANCISCO (Sept. 14) - A federal judge declared the reciting of the Pledge of Allegiance in public schools unconstitutional Wednesday in a case brought by the same atheist whose previous battle against the words "under God" was rejected by the U.S. Supreme Court on procedural grounds.
U.S. District Judge Lawrence Karlton ruled that the pledge's reference to one nation "under God" violates school children's right to be "free from a coercive requirement to affirm God."
Karlton said he was bound by precedent of the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, which in 2002 ruled in favor of Sacramento atheist Michael Newdow that the pledge is unconstitutional when recited in public schools.
The Supreme Court dismissed the case last year, saying Newdow lacked standing because he did not have custody of his elementary school daughter he sued on behalf of.
Newdow, an attorney and a medical doctor, filed an identical case on behalf of three unnamed parents and their children. Karlton said those families have the right to sue.
Karlton, ruling in Sacramento, said he would sign a restraining order preventing the recitation of the pledge at the Elk Grove Unified, Rio Linda and Elverta Joint Elementary school districts, where the plaintiffs' children attend.
The decision sets up another showdown over the pledge in schools, at a time when the makeup of the Supreme Court is in flux.
Wednesday's ruling comes as Supreme Court nominee John Roberts faces day three of his confirmation hearings before the Senate Judiciary Committee. He would succeed the late William H. Rehnquist as chief justice.
Sandra Day O'Connor stepped down unexpectedly from the Supreme Court in July.
The Becket Fund, a religious rights group that is a party to the case, said it would immediately appeal the case to the San Francisco-based 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals. If the court does not change its precedent, the group would go to the Supreme Court.
"It's a way to get this issue to the Supreme Court for a final decision to be made," said fund attorney Jared Leland.
Newdow, reached at his home, was not immediately prepared to comment
