Franz Ferdinand - Evil and a Heathen
-
I do tennis regularly with my brother, and he just loves giving me a run for my money. I also run, and go to the gym, and we have physical education lessons in school (I usually play netball or basketball).
I'm a crew member in my drama club, and we do loads of heavy lifting and stuff, so yeah.
And then I ruin it all by pigging out!

I flash the sign, I quote more than can be healthy, and I would wear the uniform if I wouldn't get suspended for not wearing my school uniform.

Right now I'm reading Worlds Of Star Trek Deep Space Nine: Cardassia and Andor. (Whew long title.) I'm going to move on to Terry Pratchett's A Hat Full of Sky when I'm done with this one, and I've got King Solomon's Mines to read for class.

Well, yeah, the book was great but the adaptation was pretty dumbed down. The themes weren't as thoroughly explored as I would have liked, and neither were the characters.
Isaac Asimov would be embarrassed, I'd say.

B)
Him and I, we're going to get along very well. Hehehe.

Fourthed. Ben Stiller just isn't funny... at all... as far as I'm concerned. B) I honestly didn't see why Meet The Parents was so popular; I thought it was one of the most boring comedies I've ever seen and alot of that was due to Stiller. He tries too hard, imo.
And the sequel. What was it called? Meet The Fockers? I didn't even bother reading any of the synopses. Ben Stiller it is then, for me. A major turn-off.

Wheel of Time (Robert Jordan), various sci-fi ands fantasy standalones, Tom Clancy, John Grisham and many more.

But I suppose it's been her life-long dream.

It's because all the TV channels show the real nice shows when the year's about to end. At least, it looks like that to me!

It is chaos here in Asia. People have got no idea whether to be shocked, or scared. But the Red Cross began taking donations almost immediately after news broke that it would require billions of dollars in aid to rebuild affected areas.
My best friend's father works in the Air Force, and he told me about how chilling it was to see empty body bags being loaded onto cargo planes headed for Indonesia, India and Sri Lanka.
It is strangely comforting to see people all over the world band together at times like this. To know that even though someone in another part of the world may be thinking in a different language, we are all praying for the same thing -- for the victims and their families to somehow, make it through this.

It read my mind every single time!
(Pssst. How does it work?)

I got Robbie Williams' Greatest Hits, a watch, a bunch of clothes (including my first skirt in a million years!) and the most gorgeous hoop earrings.
:(

The earthquake's struck a particular chord here in my household. My parents are from Sri Lanka, and we've got at least 20 relatives who're still there. We've lost contact with all except for my grandparents, who are thankfully fine.
I was in Malaysia at the time of the quake, and actually felt the tremors. They were light, I'll admit, but I was terrified out of my wits.
My dad used to go diving in Maldives, and he personally knows a few of the people there.
I don't know what to say. I can hear people singing hymns outside my window, and even that's starngely comforting right now.

I typed in 'Star Trek' and ended up here.
-
Definitely John Billingsley.
-
There's usually a service charge that comes with my pizzas. But if there wasn't, I'd give the poor dude a bit extra.
-
I got Kirk as well.
-
I named my fighter fish after guys in Star Trek, if that counts for anything.
-
Absolutely amazing!
(Do you have any more?)
-
I got 12, then I got 13, then I got 12 again, I think.

I just redid my banner. Not that image-y, but I'm proud of it :)
I just realised I didn't put in the starfield. Is it mandatory, or just a guideline?

This song just has me dancing, really wackily. It's got funkehh lyrics, and makes me jump and twist and do loads of stuff.
Franz Ferdinand - The Fallen
So they say you're trouble, boy
Just because you like to destroy
All the things that bring the idiots joy
Well, what's wrong with a little destruction?
And the Kunst won't talk to you
Because you kissed St Rollox Adieu
Because you robbed a supermarket or two
Well, who gives a damn about the prophets of Tesco?
Did I see you in a limousine
Flinging out the fish and the unleavened
Turn the rich into wine
Walk on the mean
For the fallen walk among us
Walk among us
Never judge us
Yeah we're all...
Up now and get 'em, boy
Up now and get 'em, boy
Drink to the devil
Death to the doctors
Did I see you in a limousine
Flinging out the fish and the unleavened
Five thousand users fed today
As you feed us
Won't you lead us
To be blessed
So we stole and drank champagne
On the seventh seal you said you never feel pain
"I never feel pain, won't you hit me again?"
"I need a bit of black and blue to be a rotation"
In my blood I feel the bubbles burst
There was a flash of fist, an eyebrow burst
You've a lazy laugh and a red white shirt
I fall to the floor fainting at the sight of blood
Did I see you in a limousine
Flinging out the fish and the unleavened
Turn the rich into wine
Walk on the mean
Be they Magdalen or virgin you've already been
You've already been and we've already seen
That the fallen are the virtuous among us
Walk among us
Never judge us
to be blessed
So I'm sorry if I ever resisted
I never had a doubt that you ever existed
I only have a problem when people insist on
Taking their hate and placing it on your name
So they say you're trouble, boy
Just because you like to destroy
You are the word, the word is DESTROY
I break this bottle and think of you fondly
Did I see you in a limousine
Flinging out the fish and the unleavened
To the whore in a hostel
Or the scum of a scheme
Turn the rich into wine
Walk on the mean
It's not a jag in the arm
It's a nail in the beam
On this barren earth
You scatter your seed
Be they Magdalen or virgin
You've already been
Yeah, you've already been
and we've already seen
That the fallen are the virtuous among us
Walk among us
If you judge us
We're all damned
