  1. 1. I don't think there will be another TNG movie.

    2. With the way DS9 "What You Leave Behind" was done, I don't think they have any intention on doing a "Deep Space Nine" movie.

    3. TV movies? That's the same thing as 2-part episodes, which VOY had plenty of. No, they should stick with big screen movies.

    4. I don't think there will be another TNG movie, nor a DS9 movie.

    5. I'd rather not wait 5 or so years for another movie.

Here's an idea... MIXED CAST! ;)

  2. Greetings everyone! I'm doing a poll to see which of my current favorite tv shows is most popular. Feel free to pick "other" if you don't like any of the choices, but please tell us which one you DO favor if you pick "other."

Also, I'd like to do 2nd poll on popular fanchise shows like Trek, SG-1, X-Files, and so forth, so please, if you post a response, list some popular tv shows as I don't watch much tv. THANKS!

    Let the votting begin! :wow:

    My vote: ENTERPRISE :D

  3. Still holding out hope... :D I wait till the thread gets to the middle of the last page, then I ask if anyone's watching... :wow:

Don't wanna run off to an Everwood message board, just wanna chat about it with a few people in a thread! :D

So, leave it up for a while longer. If simply no one cares... I'll just let it fall off the board. :D

  4. You all make excellent points!

Now, let's not dwell on my following question, but I'd just like a few fews...

If there was a religion like Christianity, for example, how would you feel if it was just a "part" of the character and not something heavilly focused on?

Like I said, let's not change the direction of the thread to this, I'm just currious how people would feel if it were done. People say Star Trek needs bold new changes, and I feel one of those should be a human who's religous. :wow:

  5. Exactly. Memories and life experriences. B4 had Data's memories, but not his life experriences or anything else that was part of his personallity. To me, memories are like information. While they are a part of one's personallity, they do not make up your personallity alone. :wow:

  6. If you are referring to the theme song for each show... They aren't theme songs, except for ENT's "Where My Heat Will Take me." The other 4 shows have an instrumental theme, not a theme song. Hope that helps!

  7. Star Trek need's diversity in it's truest form.

IDIC - Infinite Diversity in Infinite Combinations

Some people want to see Arrabians in Star Trek. Some wish to see homosexuals, others religous people, I myself would like to see a Christian, and so forth.

Now, I've noticed that people agree that there should be great diversity extending to having homosexual characters.

Once I suggested that there be a religous character, a debate began. Some people said it was silly to believe in something that doesn't exist, others said religion leads to war, some say they don't care, some wish to see it, and so forth...

My question is this: By wanting true diversity to the extent of having homosexuals and then saying their shouldn't be religous people in the future becuase we would evolve past the need to believe in God a bit hypocritical? Plus, they are saying that God doesn't exist. Who on Earth are they to say God doesn't exist when they have no way to prove it?

Anywho, I would like to discuss diversity in general and in all forms with you fellow fans!

However, I would ask the mod to close this thread in the event of a heated debate for 1 day so those going at each other's throats can calm down. I ask this, becuase it happened in another thread, and quite frankly, I think it's a good idea.

    CYA all arround! :wow:

  8. Sorry folks, but NEMESIS bombed in theaters and the cast is getting old, not to mention that Data died, Riker & Troi got married as well as transferring to Riker's 1st command. TNG is over.

From what I've read, Rick Berman is leaning towards the idea of a mixed cast feature, using selected characters from at least 2 of the Trek shows.
