Thanks Beachguy! -
Well goofy gosh... This is hard! -
I voted the Voyager theme! Nothing beats that dramatic theme of explorration!
I recommend that all KaZaa user's download the alternate intro for ENT - it's terrificIt's not an alternate intro... It's just the opening sequence with the Generations theme instead of the short version of "Where My Heart Will Take Me"
-
When Kirk said he'd die alone... he ment without his comrads. Picard was his nexus-friend. -
Can anyone find me the filmogrophy of the following actors? I'd like to see their other works...
TOS - William Shatner (besides the Trek movies)
TNG - Patrick Stewart (besides the Trek movies)
DS9 - Avery Brooks
VOY - Tim Russ
ENT - Conner Trineer
THANKS!
-
He's done 7 years of TNG followed by 4 epic movies. I have hopes for 1 last TNG movie and that it would be a sequal to Nemesis. But, in the end, if Stewart feels that his time as Picard has come to a close, I'll respect his decission.
PATRICK STEWART ROCKS!

Let's assume for this thread that the next movie will feature a mixed cast.
With that said, who would you like to see? Can anyone see Janeway leading the 11th movie?
-
3 years between Insurrection and NemesisMany of the cast from Voyager and DS9 are just as old as the TNG cast so if TNG is too old so are the others.
It was 4 years between INSURRECTION and NEMESIS.
The DS9 & VOY actors are not as old as the TNG actors. VOY only ended 2 years ago where as TNG ended 9 years ago. Big difference.
TNG's other with. Not enough people would see a DS9 or VOY movie. I doubt many Trek fans would see a "new cast" movie. So, that leaves us one option...
MIXED CAST
-
OH MAN! I missed the Tribble scene at the start! I'll have to catch that Saturday! -
IS A OK on the thread thing, that's your job!
However, the TNG movies are going to end eventually... then what? No more movies?
-
Well, I post varriations... and they dissapear...
Anywho, TNG has made 4 movies. The actors are getting old. Riker & Troi are married. Riker is commanding his own ship. Data died.
This leaves Picard, Worf, LaForge, and Crusher on the Enterprise.
Not to mention that NEMESIS flopped...
I think there could be one more TNG movie, but it would definnately have to be the last. I don't see how they could bring Data back. He was obliterrated by the Schimitar explossion and B4 contains his memories, not his personallity.
You're right in saying DS9 & VOY weren't successful enough for a movie.
It's too early for ENT.
They need to do mixed or new cast movies, and I'm all for mixed cast!

Thanks Beachguy! -
I tried to do that... My mom was smart enough to name them before I coulc pick a Trek name... -
In 2nd grade when the entire school made fun of me for watching Star Trek and bring the toys & technical manuals to school... -
Of coarse, my vote is mixed cast!
Let the voting begin!
-
I think Takara_Soong is in denial... -
Forgot to add... I voted Mixed Cast! -
Greetings all!
Here's something I've noticed...
TOS - The Undiscovered Country ended the TOS story
TNG - Nemesis brought an end to TNG, although it's possible we might get just one more!
DS9 - "What You Leave Behind" brought just about everything to a close except for Bajor joining the Federation and Sisko joining the Prophets.
VOY - "Endgame" got Voyager home, which was the plot of the series. The only question is, what happens to the crew aside from Janeway? (we found out her fate in Nemesis)
ENT - Current series, would be best to wait till it concludes before doing a movie.
This leaves us 2 movie options.
Mixed cast
New cast
Who would you like to see in a mixed cast movie? Who would you like to see in a new cast movie?

I love the new layout, but remeber something...
Green on black = OW!!!

My dad's computer is in the same room as the big screen tv, so I'll be there durring the comercials! -
I voted other. My favorite type of music is classical! -
Eh, the only shows that I enjoyed with constant cliffhanger stories were Star Trek Deep Space Nine and Roswell. I prefer 2-parters, than a story that spans the entire season! -
In the Star Trek franchise, we have had a total of 10 movies.
Star Trek The Motion Picture
Star Trek II The Wrath of Kahn
Star Trek III The Search for Spock
Star Trek IV The Voyage Home
Star Trek V The Final Frontier
Star Trek VI The Undiscovered Country
Star Trek Generations
Star Trek First Contact
Star Trek Insurrection
Star Trek Nemesis
Now, the TOS movies concluded. Then we got TNG movied, which have also concluded. The question remains: Should there be another movie or group of movies, and what should they be based on?
Well, here's how I see it. When the first movie came out, there was only TOS. By the time they made the final TOS movie, TNG was in it's 5th season and DS9 in production of it's 1st season. When they decided to do a TNG movie, TNG was about to end, and they had the new show, DS9. When the last TNG movie came out, both DS9 & VOY had ended, with ENT being the current series.
I think the problem here instead of a continuous flow of Trek, we had an overload durring the time DS9 was on. Let's say that DS9 was never made and they went from TNG to VOY. Then, instead of trying to decide what to do next with the movies, they would just move on to VOY.
These are options for movie #11.
Deep Space Nine
Voyager
Mixed cast
New cast
I didn't list TNG as I believe NEMESIS concluded the TNG movies. I also didn't list ENT as I believe a Trek movie works best as a follow up to a tv series.
Now, with that said, how does everyone feel on the the 4 choices I listed? How would you feel about a DS9 or VOY movie? Who would you want to see in a mixed cast movie? Should we introduce a new cast for the movies?
I have more to say, but I've got chores to do...
I'll be back to add more!

The purpose of this poll is to see which of my current favorite shows is more popular. So, let the votting begin!
I vote: ENTERPRISE
Star Trek Theme Music

Well, I might of agreed with you back when the show first started... However, at the end of the movie Patch Adams, in the end credits, the full song was performed by Rod Stewart. After hearring the full song, I fell in love with it! I also believe it fits the series entirely.
NOTE: I have all 12 tv soundtracks!
