I think it makes a kind of sence since the other wedding was in Alaska. Riker's side and then Deanna's and Mrs. Troi would be ordering people around for days in order to have everytime Perfect for her "Little One's" wedding. This would ahve been one of the biggest weeks of her life!

OK, i jsut rewatched the Yar/ Data scene in Naked Now and No, they did not kiss. She just about stared a hole in his lips, and got about an inch away from them, but there (sniff) was no kiss. He kissed Jenna though. and that girl for The Ensigns of Command, Ard'rian.

The ramming was Rambo like, but the part with the view screen being blown away, that i liked.

I agree that the wedding scene seemed forced Picard talking about how the "Troi's" marraige will effect HIM? it sounded foolish!

Yet, i guess that ramming was the only thing left to do, but the pulling apart?

Every time i see this episode, i think of Spiner's cute comment that it gave him the oppertunity to work with his favorite actor...himself!

I'm not much into TV these days. I watch Enterprise and that's it.

I seem to be working during most of the bonus Treks and when i get home, my deleted memory usually helps me to forget they are on, so unless hubbie has them on already, i just get a fix for one of my other addictions. Like this board!

OH, I love all of the final fantasy except 8, i didn't like that one. getting a pay check ever two weeks...too much reality!

I don't think i met a Zelda i didn't like. I even played the very first one and enjoyed it, same for the first final fantasy...kind of sounds weird...first fianl fantasy....

Picard in that strange head dress thing at themeeting with the short people....lowered in for me. he looked like a fool and they never did that to him in the show....that i remember. Even playing Robin Hood, he looked good.

I agree with Beedrill that M of a man ROCKEd for the way it made us think. Data stated many times (or maybe it's jsut that i saw it many times) that the Enterprise was the first place he really made friends, feel like he belonged, felt like he was treated like a PERSON.

I find that so hard to believe sometimes though. It seemed like all the people who were guests on the ship thought he was charming. I think even Q liked him in his own...weird...way.

How was it that it even took Star Fleet THREE YEARS to confirm that Data was not a threat (they studied he after he was found)

However, I think Data's day showcased just how much emotion our emotionless friend could understand at the point an how there even seemed to be a good bit that he could....IMO....feel.
