ok, the story...i was 5 month along with my hubbie's and my first child and we knew it was a girl. A freind at our work place pulled us over and told us that she had a name from Star Trek that she loved but her husband would never let her use, as we were both Trekkers, we just had to use it.

It was Kestra (Deanna Troi's sister, shown in DarkPage) I looked at my hubbie and he looked and me and he said "I like it," the rest is history.

P.S. Kestra loves that SHE is in a Star Trek episode (the child in it is blonde and so is MY Kestra)

I work at this gourmet food store and have tried all of the above. We have a Raspberry wasabi that rocks and soups with Tobasco, and so many flavors of salsa (we have this Raspberry and peach one to die for!)

we also sell all kinds of hot sauces. Even one that comes in a wooden box with a yellow caution warning on it. It warns that if you use more then one drop, you're just about taking you're life in your hands.

ever mix salsa with cheese or even sour cream? YUM!

LOL, my last birthday I took a 5 day trip with 3 of my friends to Las Vegas (my 21st Birthday). Supposed to be a great time and the ONLY reason i wanted to go was to visit the Star Trek Experience. Well, unfotunaly I got food poisoning (dont eat the buffet at the Flamingo), then i got dehydrated, sooo... Then i passed out... fell... busted my lip... spent a night in the hospital getting IV's and stiches from the cut (from the fall). After ALL of that... i still didnt get to go to the Star Trek Experience. But rest assured.. I will go one day.

OMG, that is so...rotten!

I think a nice get away to anything Tek would be great, but to met all of you and see Trek stuff...isn't that what would be in heaven? :wub:

we could all go to the trek-a-thons all ready to do things like they do for ............oh whats that movie with the drag queen wacko in it. that everyone takes props to, too watch it. we can make it "interactive trek" sounds fun to me what do you think

It has been great not only to have a place to get closer (in spirit) to my beloved sisters, but also so many other good quality people here.

I know that some of the contractions were "pilot error" but i still think that it was just another way that Soong used to cause the others on Omicron Theta to be less frightened of Data as they were of Lore. Lore was comfortable with slang, emotions and much of how we act. Data was clueless in so many of these areas and that made him easier to accept, less of a threat. For Lore it must have been easy to use his knowledge and abilities to show up the humans around him. He was smarter, stronger and faster. Data had so many gaps and could not ever speak with the scarcasm that Lore must have used like a cloak. In other wards, there was a method to his madness.

I have to agree, her talent for giving useless information was shocking. "He's hiding something" Great, but what is he hiding, that he is cheating on his wife or that he is about to fire?

The only one i liked Picard with was Phillipa from "Measure of a man" I loved her calling him an A** and a damn sexy man.

In some small way, we all have the power. Be the best person you can be. LOve those around you. Forgive, learn, grow, try and love some more. Do what ever you can to keep Gene's dream alive and show the world that it is not impossible if we try.

I'm gettin' it too. ALmost done with season two (trying to go slow so it will last) and i can't wait for three!
