Yep, there were episode that were all serious, but almost all of them had an element of humor in them that usually showed two or more characters interacting and becomeing closer. I like that.

I used to have the one from ST:TMP, long ago. I loved it. it was one LP, though and lost it in a move.

I still like the moment when Riker is looking throught Data's schematics and discovers his off switch. He is so excited for jsut a second and then he his devastated. This is one of my favorite peices of acting from Frakes too.

But of teh ones that you mentioned....Edith Keeler. Gets me every time.

And Lessa with a camera? Now I am scared!  Just kidding!

I'm a dog person.  I had a beautiful American Cocker Spaniel when I was growing up.  I'd like to get a dog when my daughter is a little older.

 

I guess i'm both but we jsut got a puppy who looks a heck of a lot like that puppy above!

Well, i'm here on my own on this one. I love to cook, so i love to make my own. bur i love to make the ham and pinapple one!

The way i look at it is, if my hubbie of 6 years ain't got a beef with my Data obsession, i ain't gonna worry about it.

After all, my honey knows who's number one!....Data, wait i mean, my hubbie or is it....oh, never mind.

Before, went Star Trek 2 was in the rumor mill, I was a member of the Atlanta Star Trek Society, we would meet monthly...i think, it was a while back.

But i would go to the yearly big CON here and even some of the little ones like Vulcon.

Data himself did not believe that "HE" could be stored in a computer and survive. (i.e., Measure of a Man) so I kind of doubt that he could be even "stored" in B4 as more then what they thought they were transferring. After all, we are talking about Data and Geordi, not some third year cadet here. Those two knew what they were doing. What was transferred was just what they wanted to be transferred and nothing more, cuz Geordi was not comfortable with it in the first place, he would not have done MORE, but he many and tried for LESS. They did not know at the time that Data would die.

We jsut got a new puppy about 10 days ago and while i have always been a cat person, i have suddenly become "mommy" to this little ball of fur. She is a sweetie and while i was reluctant to, i think i've fallen.

I still think that Q's line about needing to speak to the maid was great. So very Q!

The part of Voyager that had them with the Kazon all the time i found boring. Other then that, love it all.

but you make Data's memeorys sound more like Lore than Data. Data was never really driven by ambition. One of the reasons that he stayed where he was for so long could be a factor in that.

Brent Spiner looks jsut fine, thank you very much! If you can believe that the two rammed ships can pull apart, surely you can suspend believe enough to see past the fact that Data looks older. :)

And Goerdi and to have known that when Data ordered him to come with him, that he wasn't coming back. Data knew...Geordi did too!

I kind of liked Lore's mocking Data "I am not less perfect then Lore!" the expression on his face! Great!

But i agree with master q, i also think Data desires family like everyone else usunally has, But Lore sure was hard to love or even feel friendship for.
